My ebay id is rodeni26
We usually sell electronics we don't use anymore, house stuff, toys and I am always selling DD's gently used Gymboree clothes. Those sell really well. I have a ton of stuff to list but just put a few items up today. I have a IPOD mini, Dell computer, PSP game and 3 sets of tickets to see Depeche Mode in concert in NJ!!! I will be listing a brand new mens jacket, new video camera bag, some dolls, and some gymbo clothing soon.

My problem is that everytime I make money selling I end up buying more stuff on ebay!! I am addicted to Vera Bradly bags and Gymbo clothes for the kids!!! I get really good deals on stuff that is brand new! Gotta love Ebay! :thumbsup2

I am just trying to figure ebay out....it seems to me that you have to pay $20 upfront...I just don't get it...I only want to sell off some disney kelloggs wobbler sets and it just seems like I am not getting it...everyone says ebay is so easy...what am I missing?

I sell Soap Foamers Id sudsnsoap and Cherished Teddies( G'ma had and I'm not joking 20 rubbermaid containers of them my mom got her 5 tubs of bears. G'ma paid around $20 for each bear we are lucky to get $5 for them:)
We joked if she hadn't bought so many bears she could have taken all 20 of us to Disney :rotfl: But they made her happy.

I have never heard that you have to pay $20 upfront. All you really need is a digital camera and a good description of your stuff.

It is pretty easy. I took a picture and followed the directions under sell. You do have to pay a listing fee (even if you do not sell your item) and a commission fee. After you type in your information you review it then it is listed.

I take paypal so their fees are higher.

I am sure someone with much more experience can give you more advice.

My eBay id is krv003. I'll be listing some things in the near future. When I sold before I had a set of baby scales from the 70's that I used to weigh items to calculate shipping. I don't know what I did with them.

How do the rest of you sellers weigh your items?

You know what is really weird---I just checked out your items for sale and I realized I just looked at them last week when I was browsing on Ebay for play food! What a coincidence! :goodvibes

Isn't it a small world! I love playfood! All the playfood I sell is all leftover lots from what i buy and we have doubles of or just don't need. Pretty crazy I have that much play food here! I have spent a small fortune! Last night I lost a cookie jar I wanted. And I put in a hefty amount, $52 for the lot but to me there was nothing else I wanted! Guess it is better I didn't win. Especially since it was $15 over what I wanted to win for!

I've never sold anything on Ebay but I'm going to start with a jar of wrinkle cream. Actually, it Hydroderm. I got a trial offer, then realized I had signed up for a jar every two months! I stopped it, but its too late to return one set, so I'll se what happens with Ebay. I see this cream selling on Ebay for a fairly good price, at least I should get my money back. It didn't get rid of the wrinkles as "promised" but gave me blackheads instead! :lmao:

Or, anyone out there willing to trade some blackhead remover for wrinkle cream?

I'll just try one thing at first to get the hang of it. If all goes well, I have a lot of other things that should sell--lets see what happens with the wrinkle cream first! :cool1:

I understand, I have spent a ton on it too! I do the same thing--sell the leftovers that we already have. Not as much as you though! :teeth:

I did the same thing only I never used mine :rotfl: I ended up just about breaking even by selling mine on ebay. They seem to sell pretty well.

I don't have anything up right now but I hope to get some stuff on in the next week or so. I will have some Disney pins, lustre craft, and some other odds and ends. I just booked a mini vacation for May so I have to make some $$$ quick!!!

ebay id: beechnutbilly

Right now, I'm offering manufacturer's coupons, which I do just to finance the coupons I purchase off of ebay.....LOL....

I used to sell a lot of collectibles, mostly American pottery. But I gave that up (mostly) as local competition was getting too stiff and I couldn't make a profit any more.

I'll be listing some plus sized women's clothing and some disney pins soon.
