What's everyone selling on eBay?

I put my first item up for bid on e-bay on Wednesday and now I have 3 items going.

Our family went to a minor league baseball game back in April. They gave out bobblehead dolls to the first 1500 or 2000 fans. We got 4 of them. I gave one to a co-worker whose son really liked that player. Then a couple of weeks ago, her husband saw a newspaper article about the bobbleheads selling on e-bay for hundreds of dollars. She told me about it and I checked it out. Turns out, they are selling for about $400 each. Of course, I came home and found the bobbleheads and immediately listed one for sale. I put the 2nd one up for auction the next day. I'm going to hold the 3rd one for a little bit to see what happens.

I'm also selling 2 tickets to an Aerosmith/Motley Crue concert that I won through a contest that I didn't know I entered. It turns out that I registered on a NJ Transit website several years ago and when they have a contest, they select from registered users. The seats I won are great seats and have a face value of $125 each. I would have loved to have seen Aerosmith, but the date just wasn't convenient for us.

I've been meaning to list some other items on e-bay and these things have definitely got me hooked.

When is the best day to put up an item for Auction?

I have sold a bit here and there on Ebay over the years, but am not an expert! I have some PINS to sell, as well as some baby and scrapbooking items.

When is the best day to put up an item for Auction?

I have sold a bit here and there on Ebay over the years, but am not an expert! I have some PINS to sell, as well as some baby and scrapbooking items.

It would all depend on who you are targeting your auctions to. Some people swear Sundays is the best day. I have had good luck listing every day.

Wow! I am inspired by all of you! I am an on and off again e-bayer...I just ended auctions for two darling Pooh costumes. One is a Pooh sunflower bunting and the other was Pooh as a Honeybee. (I just saw that he will be that again this year for MNSSHP) Both are new with tags from the Disney Store. They didn't sell though! I am wondering if I should relist them, if they were too high $8, if these costumes are just not in high enough demand, or if it is not close enough to Halloween? What do the experts think?

I posted my FIRST auction (selling) yesterday! I am so proud!! actually I am scared to death, I am so afraid of doing something wrong and getting negative feedback. I am not good at taking criticism... I am selling a pair of gently used Harley Davidson riding (cowboy style) boots. I outgrew them after the birth of my two sons... so far a few lookers, no bidding.

I am looking right now at a closet full of designer (T. Hilfiger, Polo, etc.) clothes for my two sons, most NWT. they adopted uniforms at their school this year, so we have no use for these nice clothes. they have plenty of playclothes. So hopefully, once I get the hang of this, I will be selling out this closet, some designer purses, and maybe just clean out the whole house. Can I sell a 150 lb. Newfoundland on ebay? (just kidding, of course. He is DH's baby...)
