What's everyone paying for rental cars around Thanksgiving?

what are you getting for prices if any of your travel dates are between the friday before thanksgiving (nov 18) and the saturday after thanksgiving (nov 26)?

i'm sure that a bunch of these dates, if not all, are blacked out from "deals".

anyone having any luck with any codes or combinations? thanks.

from 11/20 to 11/29... Not the best I have done by any means, but I am happy for the holiday week. Used entertainment $20 coupon.

I tried all the in-terminal companies at MCO, and this was the best I found.

National $211 full size, for 9 days with Entertainment coupon (Nov 13-22) and another coupon off mousesavers.

You might want to try for the full size, it's only $12 more. Well worth it IMHO. You have to request the full size on the first page when making the reservation. If you try to upgrade after it gives you the quote for the intermediate it will cost a lot extra. Might want to give it a try for your dates!

Got it way back in March I think. I checked often as it was well over $200 when I booked it originally. I used the $20 coupon and the 6600330 contract number.

It pays to book as early as possible and check and recheck.

fyi. alamo has lowered their rates for a few vehicles right around thanksgiving. you can get a minivan for less than $300 a week (including tax and fee).

We have a mini-van reserved for Nov. 19-26 (7days) for $186.17 and with taxes and fees $245.65. I booked this April 24, 2005 with L&M and have a $10.00 coupon. I have rented from them the last 3 times with no problems.

I have researched using web discounts and entertainment discounts for the week of Nov 14-21 (flexible w/ dates) and have only come up with $195 (incl tax) for an intermediate.
