My Mum always makes Christmas dinner, so in recent years I've offered to cook on Easter Sunday... :goodvibes

This year I plan to make Chicken with 40 Cloves of Garlic, roast potatoes and steamed sugar snaps... I like to keep things simple at Easter! We generally don't bother with starters in my house as my brother won't eat them, and dessert will probably be Easter Eggs!

Whats everyone else having?

If I decide to cook, then it'll be a turkey dinner, if not, then it will be a Chinese takeaway :)

I will be cooking roast lamb, roast pots, veggies + yorkie puds.

We won't be having a starter & I am not sure what we will have for dessert - I will pick up something in Tesco's tomorrow.

Snap Claire - we are having roast lamb too - yum, yum. Probably won't have a pudding though - got to be good ;)

Nothing special on sunday as DD will be at her Nans however we will have a roast on the Monday, probably chicken. We are having haddock and mash on friday.

We have Turkey and christmas pud with cream or custard.

I have always saved a christmas pud for easter :goodvibes

We are travelling up to Staffordshire and staying at a Travelodge ready for Alton Towers the next morning.
No idea where we will eat though, wherever is open i guess.

We will be having roast turkey & trimmings just like we always do. My mum & dad will have fish on Friday too, I would but i'm probably out

Nonna usually cooks the starters - parma ham, etc - and the pasta course (always gotta be starters and pasta in Italy ;) )then my MIL will cook Lamb.
I usually do the dessert not sure what to do this year!

We're off the Devon on Friday morning so having a nice 3 course meal at the hotel.

I am working 10am to 7pm so thinking that a chinese take away, if they are open, is possible!

Claire ;)

I have no idea, but I imagine it will be something in a pub in Tenby, no doubt I will have the hangover from hell, and in that situation its normally fish and chips that I crave !!

I dont get the chance to cook "properly" very often (too lazy most of the time!) so at Christmas/Easter I like to spend a while in my newish kitchen, with glass of wine in hand doing something that the boys (DH and DS 20!) will eat in about 10 minutes flat!
My parents and sister came over on Mothers day and between us the ladees got through over 1/2 bottle of PIMMS! Didnt really care what the dinner tasted like after that:rotfl:

We are having the inlaws overnight and DS is home from Uni so its nice to give him some proper food!
I am cooking a recipe borrowed from my sister
Lay out a large piece of tinfoil and rub with oil and bit of garlic, cover in slices of prosiccuto ham then layer of spinach then place a HUGE salmon fillet on top, more garlic, another layer of spinach and finish by wrapping with more ham.
Wrap up in a pocket with the tinfoil and put in the oven for about 25 mins... so easy but oh so tasty.

We'll have garlic potatos - cut them into very small pieces, put loads of butter, some oil and loads of garlic in the pan and fry them for an hour or so until they go crispy and brown
and some veg.

Will leave pud to MIL, or there is still the Xmas pud in the cupboard.

Then I will settle down and watch Tiger on the greens while everyone else does the clearing up!!:rotfl2:

We're thinking of going to Legoland on Sunday (as we think it'll be the quietest of the four days) so I'm guessing my meal will be a packed picnic, then we'll drop in somewhere for dinner on the way home - probably mcdonalds:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I will be making turkey and ham and all the trimmings and making some apple tarts on saturday for desert on sunday ... I cant wait Im off my diet that day ohhh and lot and lots of chocs haven't had any for a while

I am being good too Joh. My dessert will probably be banana, strawberry & pineapple skewers. :)

Hmmm.... I'm working til 5 or 6 on Sunday, so I'll probably grab McDonalds or something, since I am then packing to go home for a couple of days that evening
