I've been cleaning. Cleaned out the refrigerator and started clearing off the counters. Am on my third load of laundry. I was out of commission for almost a week due to some minor surger. Even though my MIL picked up a bit while she took care of the kids, this place is a sty.

Well is a work day, on the upside I have done nothing but eat since I got to work. Yes it is the famous office party. We give out little presents and eat, eat, eat!!! At this particular moment I feel like a slug and will never move again. Well maybe just a little to get a piece of cake, I just can't get enough cake.

I cleaned my house (the downstairs anyway) and have done 4 loads of laundry. Finally did the recovery discs for my computer (whoopee!). A whole bunch of people are coming over tonight to give us some gifts- this group/extended family I guess spoils a family 'in need' every year and they decided they wanted to give some holiday spirit to a military family this year. They called my son's school asking if there were any military families, so the principal called me and asked if I was OK with that....hmm....free gifts for the kids who don't have their daddy with them this Christmas?? Sure, why not! So, they are delivering tonight. Rumor has it Santa is joining them. I hope it puts a sparkle in my kids' eyes.

Whew, it is now 11pm here and we just finished 5 HOURS of cleaning. And the flat still isn't completely clean! 2 1/2 hours of doing dishes alone...apparently they hadn't done the dishes since mid-November! (And 6 people live in the flat!) It is almost all done now, so I feel much more satisfied, but exhausted! We also managed to get all of our grocery shopping done with few crowds, which was good as well. Now its time for a bit of DISing and then sleep!
