What's cool about your state or country?

There's always something going on here really. Like every weekend there's some sort of event or festival. We're a very cultural city. xD
And since George is answering both questions, I will too.
Yep, I have. Probably a bit less than I've been to WDW so maybe 9-ish times?

What's the best season to visit Toronto?

Summer. Definitely summer. It's warm and all the flowers are in bloom. It's beautiful in Toronto at that time. So basically June to September.

Favourite country other than England? You don't have to have visited it. Just what country you think sounds nice. :)

Heres a question for everyone!

What is you're favourite sports team and have you ever seen them play (live not on tv)

Mine is Leeds United Football(soccer) I have a season ticket so I watch them every week and I watch them away! I've seen them play at Wembley Stadium too.

I haven't seen any celebrity's, no. I've seen them setting up for a scene but that's about it. I don't go to Toronto that often. But there is an old mansion close to where I live which is where they filmed X-Men. :)

Any special events happening where you are right now?

Toronto would be the most touristy place I'm close to. CN Tower and all that. Maybe Ottawa, the country's capital, but that must be a few hours away.

Have you ever visited Disneyland Paris?

Special events... I don't know! There's always something happening in London, but in my actual city, I can't think of anything.

I've never been. I really want to go though. My parents don't want to go, because they say I'll be disappointed compared to Walt Disney World. Although thanks to the DLP adverts when I was younger, I was disappointed that there was no maze in Magic Kingdom, so I guess that's something...

Have you ever visited Niagara Falls?

My favorite in Utah is Real Salt Lake soccer team. I've seen them play twice; one of them was against the L.A. Galaxy and I got to see David Becham(sp? I'm too lazy to look it up:upsidedow)!!!

Have you ever visited Niagara Falls?

A few times, actually. Haven't been there in a while though. The falls are really beautiful and there is some good entertainment like museums and casinos. A good place to spend a day or a night. And heres a fun fact, some people don't know that the Horseshoe Falls (the curved, bigger side of the falls) is actually Canadian while the smaller of the falls is American. ;)

If you could live anywhere else in Britain, where would you live?

I'm not really a sports type person, but i do enjoy watching figure skating on tv! :thumbsup2 all those complicated leaps and twists i could never do in real life without hurting myself lol (i've got two left feet so my mom jokingly calls me Grace) oh, and gymnastics ;)

do you guys really say "eh" at the end of like every sentence or is that a canadian stereotype? lol

It's more of stereotype. We catch ourselves saying it sometimes but if you hear a Canadian saying "eh?" at the end of every sentence...then they're messing with you. The word that would be more likely said is "Timmies." ;)

Why is New York called the Big Apple? I've always wondered that...

What is the most beautiful part in Canada in your opinion?

I live in Washington

Hmm...I couldn't really say. I haven't really travelled around Canada (sad, I know). British Columbia looks gorgeous. But from the places I've been...northern Ontario is beautiful. I went to my friend's dad's cottage for a weekend and it was amazing. The cottage was right on the lake and surrounded by huge trees! We went out on the boat at night on the lake and I'd just lay on my back and stare up at the clear sky. You could see millions of stars and it was completely silent. Pure bliss. The wilderness in Canada is absolutely beautiful.

Washington as in the state? Does it rain as much as everyone says it does?

It was quite a bit this year.
How bad is the traffic in Torronto?

Heh, heh...it can be pretty bad. I think our commute was rated number 12 on the worst commutes in the world. Yeah...not so good. It all depends on what time of day it is. Worst times are 7 to 9 in the morning and 3 to 5 in the afternoon since those are the rat race times. Pretty much everybody in the east commutes to their work in Toronto. The east is the suburbs.

What other states have you visited?

Yup. I've been to Buffalo, Las Vegas and I stopped off in Arizona while waiting for my connecting flight to Vegas. I've also been to Ft. Lauderdale and Miami.

Have you travelled anywhere outside of the US before?

Nope but would love to do some day.
How many people live in Toronto

What's the best and worst part about Maryland?

for me, the best part is definitely being so close to Washington DC--when I was younger, I didn't realize how lucky I was to go into DC all the time. Now I appreciate it a lot more! oh, and crabs. Maryland crabs are the best! :goodvibes

the worst part is...hmm, this is hard. I guess I'd say waking up to the smell of cow poop some mornings. I live near a farm, and it can smell so bad. that's more specific to the area I live in, though, lol. Southern Maryland is a lot of farms and such. my sisters' high school is actually nicknamed "Cow Pie High" :lmao:
