What's Closing (and When) Due to Harry Potter?

Since HP is taking over the Lost Continent section of IOA, what exactly is closing in that area and when will it be closing?

For example, I saw that The Flying Unicorn is closing soon -- any thoughts as to whether it will re-open next summer, or is closed until 2010?

Same question with Poseidon's Fury and Dueling Dragons...

We're heading to Universal next June (and staying onsite...I'm actually more excited about the Universal portion than the Disney portion...don't tell my family, though ) and I was wondering what I can expect.

I realize that they may not have released this info yet, but if anyone even wants to venture a guess...

I've heard Dueling Dragons will close by the end of this year...due to retheming. I'm not sure if DD will open before HP but I hope so. I guess it would depend on the construction progress.

Nothing has been told to the public yet. I have also heard that DD will remain open but there will be a different entrance as they retheme the queue.

The Flying Unicorn, The Dragon's Keep (Gift Shop next to exit of Dueling Dragons), and Enchanted Oak (BBQ place across from Dueling Dragons) are closing on July 8 which is this Tuesday. My managers are telling me that Dueling Dragons is closing in December for retheming not permanent closure. In addition, I believe Sinbad and Poseidon's Fury are going to stay open because there is still going to be a "Lost Continent." They're trying to add a new island which will be Harry Potter land or whatnot...people have to understand that they're not taking away The Lost Continent.

Maybe this has been discussed here before - if so, sorry for the repeat question - but does this mean Flying Unicorn is gone, never to reopen? That would be sad...it's a great family ride, especially for kids who are either too small or too scared to go on Hulk or DD. With that gone, there's even less for them to do at IOA.

with the location it has, i would think it would be rethemed and reopened when potters island opens.

ITA! My ds8 loves FU and can ride it like 8 times in a row. He's way too small for DD or Hulk. He will be soooo disappointed in Sept when we go.

Interesting...I hope that's right. I really enjoy IOA...my only issue with the park is that I felt it needed more. Here's hoping that rather than taking away, they're adding!

Tell me about it, I LOVE the Oak, we eat there multiple times every trip. I had heard about the Dragon's keep closing when we were there in May, but not about the Oak. This is a major bummer, and the Alchemy bar, man, our October trip won't be the same with those 2 places closed....................

Seriously, wouldn't they probably wait until after their busy Christmas season, Januaryish, to refurbish such a popular ride?
