What's Cinesphere?

Just heard it will be on soon at USO. What is it? A show, a ride, fireworks???

It's much more than a fireworks display, as scenes from more 100 movies are quick-cut and projected onto four massive spheres in the lagoon, while images and lasers project on surround buildings. It's a pretty cool show in the lagoon. I've seen the Halloween Horror Nights display and it's great. Not sure when it starts back up but if you're going in the summer, you'll see it.

Do you know when it will start this summer? We plan to be there from June 22 - 26. We could possibly add June 21 or 27.

OK-thanks! Shucks, I wish they would do it before that, but maybe I can talk my DH into adding the nights to the END of our vacation....I doubt it, but it'll be worth a try.

It only works for refillable mugs. All others must pay first.

Too bad for us, we're going Aug. 25 to 27 and the parks will be closing @ 7pm. Oh well, will just have to go back next year during peak season!

it's actually Easter weeks, when the park is open to 10pm, except saturday (Mardi Gras). This friday the 29th will be the last one until the summer. The show actually starts at 9:45pm.

from 4/8 to 4/15 the park closes at 7pm and by then it will still be light out since the sun is setting after 7pm now.

if you do a google search there is a web site that has a video of the entire show from 2006.
