What's "bump" mean?

Bump is when a thread that is important (aren't they all to someone) gets located on the 2nd page so by posting and putting bump (i.e. prayer request for cruise) the thread then moves to the first page.

On the board it just means that someone is moving a thread up to the top so that they can try for a response. It is easy to get lost on the 3rd page if the board is really busy.

It's the term used when you want to take a thread that is on a different page and bring it to the top of page 1. since when you reply to any thread it goes right to the top of the first page. Those you are bumping it back up. Many times you will see threads with a lot of useful info or questions that haven't been answered bumped
