Having the benefit of a boat to DTD?

Or a better, faster, quieter bus service?

Can you tell I still can't decide between POFQ and CSR?!?

I hate Disney buses with a passion, used them at Xmas to goto trails end to eat, only a few minute but I get wound up so much stopping, starting, 2 wheelchairs had to be loaded and unloaded. I like to be in control , just about the worst thing in Disney for me is getting on a Disney bus.
Car for me but never tried the boat.

We wont be renting a car this trip, so dont really have a choice on no buses.

I prefer the boat. The one to OKW and SSR did leave on the hour and half hour from downtown, when we were there in the summer.

The car is fastest, and I gave up waiting for the bus one day and took the boat instead.

we stayed at csr for our wedding and we wont be going back. the buses were a nightmare. we normally drove to the parks as we had to wait ages one day 40 mins for a bus and we went in low season!

We are going back to pofq this year

Stayed at both. Love POFQ, it's so compact and we love the boat to DTD. CSR is nice but too spread out, The buses were good when we were there in 07 but we popped over last september to have a look around and it was a nightmare. Waited ages and took forever. It was also deathly quiet. We had a late lunch at about 3 and there was only us about. Going back to POFQ in September again - you can't beat it!!

Our vote would always be for the boat rather than the bus - it is much more relaxing! POFQ is a great resort!

We are planning on staying at POFQ. I have read many good reviews about it and it is voted the best Mod on Allears

I think what puts me off staying at the CSR is the fact that it is also used as a conference hotel but others also think this is a great hotel. I like the idea of the boat after a trip at night to DTD.

Hi there - I've stayed at POFQ and also Saratoga and only used the boat once. Both resorts are beautiful but I must say that POFQ is far less spread out than Caribbean Beach Resort, so everything is nearer.

We travelled by boat from POR to DTD and I found it to be much more enjoyable than using the buses, just make sure you have gauged the travelling time right if you've booked a meal somewhere. The boat's a great way to chill out and relax before diving into the masses at DTD!
