What's better than celebrating your 40th @ WDW?!? Single Digits!!

Last night I went out to do a little bit of shopping for the coming weekend (going to the Dover NASCAR races), and get supplies for my craft projects for the hockey booster club I am involved with. I stopped in the Dollar Tree to see what items I would need to get in the next coming weeks to help out with our trip. They had glow stick packs (bracelets), so I picked up 5 packs of different color bracelets. I also checked out if they had pop up hampers for when we go to do laundry. They had plenty of them so I can wait to pick one (or more) up. They also had packs of hangers. I might pick up a pack just so we have some extra hangers to hang clothes (since there will be 4 of us in the room). These are items that will not be coming home with us. They will be left. I need to talk to the girls about if they want laundry hampers also to keep the room a little more organized. I have a pile of things in the family room sitting that is items that are going. I have some halloween decorations for the window and I want to pick up some Christmas decorations (window clings), for the window. I also may make up a birthday string sign for our window. It all depends on how much time I have.

I can't believe we are almost a month away from leaving...This is my last day to customize our magic bands.

I got the best email this morning...our magic bands have been shipped and will be delivered by Thursday!!! 26 days to go!!!!

I received our magic bands the other day!!!

I have discussed with the other girls about getting a hotel at BWI, but we have decided against it because most don't have parking past 5 to 7 days and we need at least 12. Also the prices are higher than what we would have paid for long term parking. So we have just decided to leave late in the evening and just get there early and relax in the car or catch some sleep at the airport.

Well, I started packing the snacks in my smaller rolling suitcase (it is usually my carry on bag). I am checking that bag and I am going to put snacks and maybe a pair of sandals or two in there. I also am going to put some of the bathroom items in there. It looks sort of like this:



I got it a couple of years ago from Target and it works great as a carry on, but this time I am going to check it that way I have extra packing space for when I come home. I was planning on starting to pack my capris, but since we are having a small stint with "indian summer", I can't pack them quite yet...LOL!!!

I also bought some ebags packing cubes early in the summer and I have used them twice now and I don't know how I haven't used them before. They work amazing. I went to Nashville in June and packed 7 days of clothes in them and only used half of my suitcase.



I do have to check with the other girls to see what suitcases they are using to make sure what we are all bringing will fit in my car.

We are a week away from arriving at WDW for our "trip of a lifetime".

I have started packing for the trip, but packing has me all:

So I was just checking park hours to see if they had changed them and of course they did...

The EPCOT hours haven't changed at all, but the others have.

The day we are at Hollywood Studios, they have extended the evening until 8pm and with EMH in the evening, it will be 10pm until the park closes for us.

Our day at AK, the closing hour will be 8:30pm.

Magic Kingdom was our other day that got to extended...the original hours were from 9:00-10:00pm. Now it is 8:00am-11:00pm with EMH until 1am!! That will be a long day, but it will be so worth it!!!!!


I have packed my clothes, but there are some things that have to wait to pack because they need washed...LOL!!!
