AOL has it right now for $69.00. This will be for digital and 35 mm scanned pictures.

Elements is the new name for Photoshop LE (same program, different name).

I just got Photoshop 6 not too long ago & am still trying to figure out the funky new tool bar.

Photoshop 6 is an awesome program, but it's very pricey and way more features than the average joe would ever use. Photoshop Elements has many of the cool features of Photoshop 6, and it's a lot easier to use. If you buy this program, I suggest you buy a help manual with it (the one it comes with sucks). I bought "Photoshop Elements Solutions" by Mikkel Aaland.

I use Jasc Paint Shop Pro. It was $99.00.
If you are just doing some basic image editing try irfanview. It is free and a very small program

Another one that is good is the Visual Quickstart guides.
