I heard from WDWfanatic288 (Jules) the other day, she is VERY busy with her senior year in HS. And I think Quentin wanted to back off from the boards when he became a CM at WDW, thought too much chance for saying something wrong possibly. Have not really seen OK since Riddle-Con last summer, a great time that was (check the link in my signature, Joe). I have seen Saffron pop in now and then but not much, miss her too. And yes, sammi, I was on the flower board the other day, looking for something, and noticed Kim has been missing too. Hope all is well with her.

There are lots of nice folks whom I miss from the these boards.

Do you guys remember a long ago poster from Israel? She had two older sons (college age I think, I believe at least one of them was in the army) and a younger daughter? She and her husband had a harley davidson franchise or something I think and she was a librarian. I think about her often because of all of the things going on in Israel and I wonder if she and her family are ok.

Never do see GP around anymore either. I recall he was coming to a meet at WDW, never showed and never heard from him anymore. Maybe he is working the 3 PM parade, LOL.

Keli, you are thinking of JodyB. She is okay, I do keep up with her. Her DD is Liav and as of last, her sons were still in the service if I recall. Here is a picture of Jody at the Poly after a great AM character breakfast a couple years back. A group of us DIS'ers were heading over to MK for a nice day.

And I recall one evening, while I was driving up to Milwaukee for a next day flight to MCO, I called and surpised Jody, calling her at work, her day just beginning (8 hour time difference). We remarked how neat it was, I driving up the tollway here in the States, in the evening darkness, talking on a cell phone, her at the university library in Haifa, looking out on the Mediterranean at the early morning sunrise. Crazy, LOL. I think she stops by the Paris DL board here at times, having traveled there recently.

Hey Dan,
It's totally cool that you knew who I was talking about and you knew how she was doing! Thank you, I think about her whenever I hear about violence in Israel (especially the older boys in the military, I knew one was in it for sure and I thought the second one might be) and it's good to know that all is well.

Keli, thanks for remembering - that really touched me. I have been away from the boards for quite a while - so I'm surprised anyone remembers me! Everything Dan said is true, except my older son is now out of the army and will start university in Jerusalem soon. As you know from watching the news there is never a dull moment here, but thankfully my family and I are all well. I am counting the days until my younger son finishes his service in the Israeli Navy - he is now off the coast of Gaza. My daughter is now in 7th grade. She has some health issues lately and will need some specialized surgery which apparently can't be done here in Israel. I am looking for a surgeon who does adolescent surgery including reconstruction of the uterine system. So that's taking up my time these days! She is not in any immediate life-threatening danger but it's something that has to be taken care of as soon as possible.

The terror has affected us at times in that we have known the victims or places we frequent (restaurants) have been blown up. I can't say that does not affect us, but on the other hand we live a pretty normal life. I try not to even watch the news every single day - I want to keep my thoughts on the happy and normal stuff like work and my daughter's sports activities... like a family anywhere.
Anyway, thanks for asking - I've always known these DIS people are special!
