Whatever Happened to Scooby and Atlantis Towncar?

We had a great experience with Atlantis on our last trip. I have not heard any mention of Atlantis or Scooby lately and can't find any info by doing a search either. Are they out of business or did they merge with another company? Should we use Happy Limo? Thanks!

P.S. We had a bad experience withy Tiffany Towncar while attempting to book them, so we decided not to use them. The person I was dealing with had a bad attitude and didn't seem to care whether or not she got our business, and I got bad feeling about them. Maybe she was just having a bad day, and I realize they had website trouble, but there's no excuse for treating me poorly. I think they are forgetting who the customer is (and I'm not hard to please). I figured if we had trouble in the booking process, I wouldn't feel confident that they'd be there to meet us at the airport.

If I can remember right. Pete had received lots of bad complaints from people on these boards about Scooby/Atlantis being unprofessional. Pete decided to remove Scooby as one of the sponsors on these boards.

You can try Tiffany Towncar again (they really do have great service) or you can try Happy Limo.

Atlantis is still around but no longer a sponsor on DIS. Looks like they've jazzed up their website recently.

I say use whoever you're most comfortable with! I've used Tiffany and Florida with equally good service. My parents have used Atlantis and were happy with them. We all now use Tiffany exclusively simply to support DIS but if you've had a bad experience with them, use someone else. There's plenty of options!

We used AtlantisLimo again for our trip last month. Scoobey was our driver and was just great!!!

Not sure what happened concerning Scoobey and the DIS but personally I have had no problem with his service and will use Atlantis again!!!

I have used Happy Limo for my clients and thay have all had great things to say about them. I have read too many complaints lately about tiffany contracting out and the bad drivers these people are getting. I am afraid to use them for fear my clients would get one of these drivers. I want to use a company I can be sure of.

I didn't have a positive experience getting information from Atlantis. I requested a quote which they gave me and said that additional expenses would be the tip, parking and taxes. So I asked for an estimate on parking and taxes which was sent to me. I then decided to book them and gave them all my details. They e-mailed me again to give me a "heads up" that they had quoted me the wrong price and that they would give me a limo on 1 of my 4 legs for my trouble. (The price was more than $30 higher than what I was quoted.) The next day I got a confirmation from them. It not only had the higher towncar price (no mention of the limo), the estimated parking/taxes suddenly went up too (a lot). When I told them to cancel the booking because the price was much higher than what I was quoted, they responded that they weren't sure what I was talking about and asked if I was talking about the rates on their site. All e-mails were signed "Scoobey," so either he doesn't pay much attention to the business or more than 1 person was answering my questions, but using the same name. I thought the entire thing was very unprofessional and I am glad not to have booked with them.

We have since booked with Happy Limo. Their e-mail was very clear with the price quote and it included everything (no worrying about how much "parking" fees will be). We haven't used them yet, so can't completely recommend them, but they were cheaper than others and have been great so far. We are going on a cruise, so our route is airport->WDW->port->airport. Happy gave us a multiple-trip discount, so we didn't have to pay for the 1-way fare for each leg. Other towncar agencies did not give such a discount, so we chose Happy.

I have used Florida , Tiffanys, and Atlantis, I have been only useing Tiffanys, Floridas was good to, I will NEVER use Scoobey again thou, so I stick with Tiffanys ....always great treatment!

Especially after we just had a very positve experience with him and also last year. Did he forget to pick you up or something?? Just curious!
