I'm really not the morality police...I'm a child of the 60's, it would be hypercritical of me to the morality police. But, to me, bathing suits are appropriate when at a pool. In the parks or inside the resort area, you should be covered up appropriatly. I used to wear a very minimal bikini. However, sadly, those days are waaaay behind me. Now, it's a tankini. I generally wrap a towel around my waist for the walk to and from my resort room. Same for my 14 y/o dd. She tends to favor a teeshirt over her suit..which is getting briefer and briefer as she gets older.
My dh wears a bathing suit that looks more like shorts, but still he puts on a teeshirt to get to and from the pool area.
I just figure that if you're away from the pool area, you should be dressed a bit. Sure, there's nothing wrong with the human form, but it is more about respect for others I guess. I know that is going to be an unpopular stand, but there it is.
In the parks?? Now, that's where it gets me. I can't stand seeing girls/women in the parks in bikini tops. You're not swimming, so put on some clothes. At a water park I can see it. But MK? Please. Thats more about making sure everyone notices you.
