I agree that the remote location (longer walks to the main pool & dining at SSR) coupled with the whole dumb bunk bed thing and the bus route detour are all negatives for the THV's. It all really makes trying to use DME a less appealing option.

But hey Rob - if there will be at least some ppl in your party will be there with cars I'd say GO FOR IT!! Grab 'em while they're hot!!

the THV buses brings you the Spring bus stop - the springs is the last bus stop to the parks.

so would definitely get a car or just move to regular 2-bedroom at SSR.

I would wait to see how people react to the bus transfer situation before renting a car. We are campers and have stayed in Ft. Wilderness quite a few times. The interior shuttle bus to the main bus stop works quite well there. the THV interior shuttle is being modeled after this. My feeling is it will work, but there will be folks who don't like it.
