What year was your first trip to WDW??

Honeymoon - June 1979.

We took my kids many times to WDW during the '80s and 90's and included my parents in several of those trips.

As of this past Christmas, we became a 4 generation Disney family when we were able to share the Magic with my 3 year old granddaughter last month.

1986 - oh, wow - this year is my 20th Disney anniversary! Guess I will simply have to go back to celebrate!

It was Aug 2000, we were there for a cheerleading competition. We didn't have much time to enjoy the parks, but this time watch out!!

My first trip was in 1983 when I was 3 years old. I am going for my 16th time for my 26th birthday this year. Can't wait!!!

My first trip was June of 1972, and I was not far from my 20th birhday. I went with my BF at the time (later he was my DH and currently my stinker of an EX DH). We only had one day to visit the park and wouldn't you know a tropical depession was approaching FL. What did we know - we went anyway! As I remember the park was nearly empty and the longer we stayed the more things shut down, but not before my BF dragged me onto the sky cars, even though he knew that heights freak me out. He said he had never seen anyone literally turn green before. That should have told me something about him!

I will never forget the moment i first walked down Main Street
or when I sat on my Dad's shoulder for the best view of SpectroMagic.

I took my high school band back in '90. Again in '95 (different school). During that second trip, I told my wife, "We need to come back here with just our family." The rest is history...

My first stay was in 2002 when I was 31! My husband and I took our then 6 year old daughter. I was hooked! We stayed at WL and now I won't stay anywhere else! We've been back two more times and plan on going for a 4th trip in 2008.

The first time we went was on our honeymoon in August of 1975. Back then there was only the Magic Kingdom. We were there for only one day. Space Mountain wasn't up and running then. The next time we went was in August of 1993 with our 4 kids. They were 3, 5, 7, and 9 years old then. The whole family has been back 5 times since then. In fact, I have never been to WDW when it wasn't August!! We will be going back this coming August. The "kids" will be 16, 18, 20, and 22.

I was at the Magic Kingom (only park open) with my mom for my 11th birthday in 1981-didn't go back until 12/04-this time it was with my DH (who had never been) and our 2 DDs (ages 5 & 8). We surprised them with news of the trip the morning we left!!

My very first trip was the summer of 1980. We went to the MK for two days. I have pictures from that trip. My last trip before the LONGEST 15 years was in 1986. I then had to wait until Christmas of 2001 to go back. Since then I've been back every year except 2004. Even better, 2 times on the Disney College Program

My first trip to WDW was back in 1978. I was 5 years old at the time and I have been a fanatic ever since. My DW's first trip was 10 years ago during the 25th Anniversary Celebration. (Yes, her first trip was the year of the cake. We both loved it!) My kids took their first trip in 1999. They were 5 and 3 respectively.

The coolest thing though for me and I wasn't even there (although I wish I was), this past year, back in November my Dad took his brother on his first trip to Disney. Now you have to understand that my Uncle's 2 heros in life have always been John Wayne and Mickey Mouse. He never thought he would be able to go but my Dad made his wish come true. And as many of you can imagine, my Uncle nearly cried on the Great Movie Ride at MGM when they rounded the corner and he saw "The Duke" on his horse. Even though I can only live that memory thru stories, it gets me as choked up as the first time my kids saw Mickey and Minnie at MK.

My parents actually took us to the visitor's center to look at the model in I think 1969 or 1970, before the park opened! I was 8 or 9 and my folks booked our trip for the either the winter or fall of opening year. We stayed at the contemporary and I can still remember the mosaic at the CR and being away by the monorail coming into the hotel! Space age in those days, er, I am aging myself!

I first went in 1986..(born in 84) and have gone back atleast 3 times every year since then....I never stayed on property until my graduation from high school in 2002 because my parents never thought it was worth it...until i talked my mom into going with me once and now she REFUSES to go unless we stay on site lol! ( & to be honest i think she is also hooked on that dining plan! LMAO )

My first trip was in 2002, for my honeymoon. I have always, shall we say be obsessed with Disney and my DH suggested that we go to WDW for our hoeymoon, best idea he has ever had.

My first visit was pre-opening 1971, I had family that were the first Cast Members and Disney needed guinea pigs, I mean guest to practice on. I remember we were all so excited waiting on the Monorail that first morning. I'll never forget my first trip around The Seven Seas Lagoon. I visit often still haven't lost the Magic.

In 1985 - I was only two at the time. I don't remember anything but something must have stuck. I can't stay away.
