My first time was in 1974 (age 16), with 2 adult family friends and a bunch of teens (their nieces, nephews, sibs, and me, an honorary niece). We stayed in 2 rooms at the Contemporary (girls in one room, boys in the other). It was only MK, of course, but we stayed for 5 days. We had the best time, although when I came home I complained that "all there is to eat is hamburgers and pizza." When I went back with my parents & a cousin the following year, we discovered they had real restaurants too LOL. I guess with a bunch of teens we did the budget version

, but the 'life' experience was invaluable! We became the official 'tour guides' for every friend and family member who wanted to visit WDW in those early years . . . and I've been hooked on the magic ever since!!

I guess you can say that we are hooked!!
