What year is your vehicle?

Our Honda Civic is 1998 but our Lexus 400h is a 2006. It's a hybrid and we love it.

We have a 1999 Tahoe and a 2002 Suburban. DH may be changing offices soon and have a 45 minute drive, so we are thinking of getting something smaller.

we have 2 1993 Grand Prix's, one is a 2 door sports model with sunroom, great speaker-system.......the other is the 4 door sedan .........they are still runnin great....no need to keep up with the Jones on my block.....

Must be a really big car if it has a sunroom.

Our newest is a 2002 Buick Rendezvous.
Then comes the 1998 Buick Regal
then DH "toy" car; a 1973 Buick Riviera

Anyone see a pattern here? We are not old either, only in our 30's, but we live in the midwest.

We buy our cars new and try to keep our cars as long as possible and to only have one car payment at a time (this means my van needs to last another 1 1/2 years until we pay off DH's Element!)

DH works out of his car, so he gets the newest car. My workplace is 2.3 miles from our house, so I am fine with driving the "around town" car. I absolutely love the van, though, and will be very sad when it bites the dust!

'96 Nissan Quest minivan. Apparently I get GREAT gas mileage...'cause the lemon is never running! Now my repair bills....there's a black hole of a whole new dimension.
In the market to replace it, but only have 70,000 miles. Now, who can suggest a great car that only costs about $200 a month, with a mere $2000 downpayment? I'm looking at the 7 year plan for sure! That way I am sure to have car payments and repair bills at the same time!How pathetic, for something that deprediates on the drive out of the lot.

Both cars are 2002. I drive a Voyager that we bought brand new and I would love to get rid of. DH has Prism that we bought used and we love. It is just too small for the five of us, so it only gets used to and from his work.

We have a 2002 Land Rover Discovery II (BAD gas milage!) and a 2003 Volkswagen Jetti TDI (GREAT gas milage!). Love both of them, but just can't drive the Land Rover much anymore...just around town mostly. They are almost paid for...don't want another car payment.....we drove our previous vehicles to death. A 93 Civic and a 90 Chevy Blazer. The Civic was awesome!

I have a 1994 Honda Accord coupe, with a 5 speed stick shift. I love the car so much, I will be heart-broken the day it comes to get a new one! I did recently put some good $$$$ into the car, so now the car runs great! I just drove last week to Disney World from here in NJ, with no problems at all. It has 187,000 miles and gets great gas mileage. I hope to keep it about two more years. I paid cash for it new, so I am going to use it until it runs no more!

I already know my next car will also be a Honda, probably a dark blue coupe with a manual 5 speed. Someday!

A friend got a great deal on a Scion (made by Toyota) and it was less than $14,000. I think with $2000 down and a 5year payment plan, your monthly payment would be around $200.

I would like to trade up his car, but its so nice not having any car payments.

I know what you mean. I love Honda's!! I wouldn't trade mine in either. They are great on the gas mileage. I bet your Accord will last more than 2 years. I notice a lot of people hang on to there Honda's. I love the fact they hold there value too .
