What "year" is next? And for how long?

Just curious if anyone knew the answer to this....

When we last went to WDW (08/2006), it was "The Happiest Celebration" in honor of DL's 50th year. However, it seemed to last more than a year.

Now it is the "Year of a Million Dreams", which feels like it started sometime in the fall of 2006. When does this promotional cycle end?

So, does anyone know what the next theme is? I would really like to hear from some CMs in disguise who might be able to give some insight. TIA.

YOAMD ends either on Sept. 30 or Dec. 31. There seems to be conflicting info on when this is. Epcot's 25 birthday is Oct. 1 this year but so far there is no mention of anything other than perhaps a celebration on that day. Not sure about a resort wide celebration though. I'm sure the WDW marketing geniuses are hard at work coming up with the next advertising promotion.

There was a time when you could tell people to visit WDW, because it was just Walt Disney World. That's all I need.

As Brian said, there is not necessarily another marketing theme starting in January 2008.

Also as Brian said, the fact that WDW is there is good enough for me!

I'm with you. It's a good/bad thing. I like sharing the magic, just not with the whole world at the same time.;)

BTW, I didn't mean to imply that I needed an impetus to plan my next trip.

I'm just curious if anyone on the boards has some insight into the marketing thoughts of WDW.

Thanks again!

Years ago when we went in l988 it was Mickey's birthday - they even had Mickey's birthdayland (where ToonTown is now). I'm wondering in 2008 if it will be connected to Mickey's birthday again.

Oh my Gosh! I remember Mickey's Birthdayland! I was there that year! I remember the birthdayland express. I lost my tooth on that! Wow, what a way to bring back a memory! Thanks!
