I think this is boiling down to "Talk me out of this!"
I am an experienced counted cross-stitcher. I am making a birth sampler for my grandniece (arrival date December).
I had a choice of 2 kits. I picked one, started it, and decided I'm not thrilled with it (colors too light, pattern too intricate). So, for that reason, I am not getting much done. I looked at the second kit again, and think I like it more (brighter colors, etc.)
If you were me, would you: (A) force yourself to power through the pattern or (B) give up, buy the second kit and start again? It would be less than $20 down the drain.
I am leaning towards (B), unless someone can talk me into (A). You have until tomorrow!
Thanks!!
