My oldest son will be turning 4 at Disney this year and my younger son will be 10 months. We will be there for 8 days. My oldest rarely rides in a stroller at home and my youngest will sit in it for a little while, definitely not all day--he likes his carriers. Would you bring a double stroller or just a single stroller? I have a Maclaren twin triumph and a Maclaren quest (single).

I would bring a double, my dd never used a stroller at home but needed one at Disney up until at least age 6. The last thing you want to do is be stuck carrying two kids all day long for your entire trip. My dd also liked being able to sit in the stroller for shows, parades etc. It is much easier for keeping track during crowds exiting and entering the parks as well.

yay for another babywearer...i wore ds when he was a baby, still do actually. we went to wdw in march ds was 18mos dd 3.5. I brought a single stroller. big mistake. DD wanted to ride and it was really hard carrying ds around the entire time, granted he was close to 30lbs. In sept we are renting a double stroller. i dont have one. DS ended up liking the stroller alot while we were there. i think he was hot alot in the carrier even tho it was a solarveil one. even if u dont use both seats its good for carrying stuff in kwim?

I vote for a double too, you don't want to have a fight about who's going to be in the stroller. It gives them thier own space. one of our pervious trip with family, we needed 2 double for nieces and nephews and the 5 yearold who was not one of the youngest 2 still wanted to ride in the stroller on occasion. My husband ended up carring DN a lot to elivate the stress for her parents who have 6 pericous childern ( 14 12 10 5 18mn 6mn at the time). Also Like the pp mention even if they don't want to be in it it's a great place for them to or you to "put stuff"

I will be taking a double from home (combi) for a 3 year old and 1 year old PLUS a umberlla stroller for a 6 year not used to Disney walking in 2010

My dd is 5 and we are going in 29 days and I am going to have her walk during the day but when we are out at night we will have the stroller as she is way tooo heavy to carry and I have a ruptured disk in my neck so I can't carry her, so yes yes yes the stroller will come in handy... She didn't use it much last year but during the parade, and leaving the parks I knew exactly where she was at all times and that alone is worth bringing it along.:banana:

Ditto the double stroller! or bring the single and a mega cheap, lasts for a week, much lighter, umbrella stroller with your other single for the long days or nights.

Bring a double and make sure both kids can sleep in it. Also make sure your baby carrier is a front carrier so you dont have to take baby off to ride rides and see shows.

another vote for the stroller. Part of the reason I bought a Baby Jogger for my son is it will also hold my daughter.

My oldest definitely will sleep in the stroller if he is tired enough. My youngest has NEVER slept in the stroller. They are definitely different kids. He will sleep in the carrier though, but I don't know if I can do that all week long. My carriers are front carriers. I have a Belle Baby, but I don't know if he will be too big for that one when we go, and I have a Baby K'tan (which I love and I can wear him so many different ways).

When our boys were that age, we took the double and I had a Hotsling in the diaper bag. Mostly, they stayed in the stroller, but that sling sure came in handy! We have the Macleran Twin Techno and it handled the differing weights pretty well.

We took an umbrella stroller for DD5 on this trip and by day 3 DD8 and DN7 were also in strollers (we had to rent them)
