I have ADR's for Sci Fi Dine In in MGM, which I want to keep since the kids really want to go there. My question is, would you pay out of pocket for this (since it doesn't seem too expensive) and use that TS for another place?

I think I might pay OOP for some of my kids' TS meals. I debated cancelling CRT since it counts for 2 TS credits, but I know my girls would love it, and I don't want to cancel any of the others either.

Definitely. We did this last year...our total at Sci Fi was about $30--the burgers were so big and it was hot, so my husband and I halved a burger, and the kids' meals were not expensive.

So, you could use your sit-down credits at a $30 place or at a $120 buffet with characers....

I'd definitely pay OOP. The biggest regret I had when using the dining plan was wasting TS credits at Sci-Fi. We had dinner there and the food was just awful. When I thought we could have used those same credits at Le Cellier I could have cried.

another good idea is to just go get dessert there and pay OOP for that. they have some really good ones!

Hi! I'm planning on doing this too at Sci Fi and The Plaza restaurants. I'd rather save my TS credits for character meals and the more expensive restaurants.
