What "would you do" in FW for a day?

Staying in the cabins after a Wonder cruise in early February. We have been to WDW enough in the past few years that we don't feel the need to do everything in the parks. Our kids will be 3 and 5. I've read a lot about FW...I would just love opinions on what "you would do" if you had a day to spend at FW. Thanks for any replies

with little ones make sure you do the campfire sing a long, roasting marshmallows and the movie afterwards. That will make a nice evening of memories. You can also watch MK fireworks from the beach and the electrical water parade passes by fort wilderness beach. I don't know how much of the stables and petting zoo are still there, as they have moved some animals to AK. Actually it is real nice to just relax for the day and not hurry some place. Enjoy your cruise too.

On our next trip, next year, we are planning to build in a day just to "do" FW. Our kids will be 4, 6 and 9. They have pony rides there and you can see the big work horses in their barn (the ones that pull the trolleys on Main St. in MK). You can rent a golf cart for the day and just drive around and enjoy the grounds (not ALL day, of course, but it's fun none the less). There's the pool and a couple of playgrounds, and even though you can't swim in the lake, hanging out on the beach in the sand is nice, too. And in the evening there is the Chip & Dale campfire sing-along and a movie, as well as the Electrical Water Pageant that you can see from the beach.

Have fun! :wave2:
