What would you do - got a PIN but already have Ressie

Have my plane tickets, all my dining ressies, and POFQ room of choice for the Free Dining deal from 9/24 - 10/2. Just yesterday I received a pin from Disney for 20% - 40% off room reservations for the same dates that free dining was extended for.

What would you do? Try and move the plane tickets and pursue this, or just stick with what I have? I called today and they have no moderate resorts for 9/24 - 10/2 - all they had were AKL and BW, and for about $1100 more than I am currently paying. Has anyone else moved a ressie to take advantage of a pin before?

We received a similar offer and decided to keep our current free dining at POR. Another 1200.00 is another vacation to the beach for us .
We are hardly in the room at all and spent morning til night in the parks so it just seemed like a waste of money to us.

I would stick with what you have. If you have the "extra" money to do the deluxe, then put that money aside for a different trip. That is a lot of money, just for a room.

What if I changed my reservation to another date to get the reservation? Would I forfeit my $200 deposit to do that?

Also, I can change my flight with Delta no problem, but we have Cirque du Soleil tickets for one night and I'm not sure what I could do with those if changing the date....

I've been really putting aside "niceties" until I have the balance saved for this vacay, so if I could lower it by even $400 AND push it back a to around Christmas time, I could possibly afford the deluxe (as with a 40% discount during value time it's "only" $144 a night.

What to do, what to do?
