I have a husband who LOVES to eat....I mean that is all he does the entire time. We had the free dining in '06 and even after our apps, meal, desert he still ate more....drove me nuts! He wouldn't use our snack credit for donuts, etc. for Breakfast-he always paid for a meal then, too!

We now have twins that will be 2 when we go next Sept. I'm hoping for free dining, but if not, will pay for it myself. My question is: SHould I upgrade to deluxe??? Most posts I read say it is never worth the extra money. Here's my thinking, though: WIth deluxe, we can get appetizers which I can feed the babies. I can also get a breakfast buffet every morning if we wanted so I could feed the babies off that as well. I just think with the 2 under 3 that are going to need food and my husband who loves to eat, it would make sense to pay 80/ day to upgrade?? (2 adults and 9ds) Or is it still cheaper to buy a kids meal to split and my husband the extra breakfast/snacks throughout the day? Oh, and we always do buy a mug for coffee in the mornings so that is included in the deluxe.

BTW, he stays so skinny-even after these vacations:confused3 Makes me mad as I gain 10 lbs or more!!

It would probably make sense to do the DxDDP in your case. It would make your dh happier and more satisfied with the food. Your little ones would be able to enjoy whatever they wanted at buffets, etc.
You might still have some OOP expenses, but not as many, I'd guess. For example, if you ended up doing a couple CS meals, the little ones could share a kids meal and you and your older child could share an adult meal and your dh could have one all to himself.

Be sure to plan some all you care to eat/family style/buffet meals during the trip since the 2 yo twins can eat w/o worry there.

We had fun at Ohana breakfast and dinner. Also WCC would allow the kids to share w/ you if someone got the skillet at either breakfast or dinner.

A little hint...if a TS kids meal is listed as $7.50 for all 3 courses, they do break down the cost if you ONLY get the burger or chicken or whatever. If you skip the noodle soup or salad, skip the ice cream, it costs less. So you could order the twins something a la carte for a little less money than the full meal.
