With the assumption that there is reincarnation, what would you change about yourself in your next life?

I would be less responsible. I know it sounds strange, but I'm always the one that has to take care of stuff and be the "strong" one. I'm also the one that everyone expects to take charge and do the right thing and all that cliched stuff.

So, yeah, next life I want to be less responsible.

I am right with ya one that one. Being full of responsibility sometimes just reaks.

And also, I wouldn't wait until my late teens to not be shy and sensitive like I was in this life.

I wouldv'e known what I wanted to be in high school and had some kind of plan of attack. I wouldv'e gone straight to through school and not worried or thought about my love life ect. I wouldn't have gotten married so young and wouldn't have had kids so young...wouldv'e wanted to have the same kids of course, but just a few years later, after I had my career set.

I'd be skinny. I want to be one of those chicks who can eat and eat and never gain a pound.

I would be nicer to my brothers and sisters. I would spend more time with family and really appreciate them. I've learned the hard way how much I miss family members now that they're gone.

I would also try to be more health-conscious and take better care of myself all through my life.

I don't necessarily want to be reincarnated -- but I would LOVE to go back and redo my life and change the things I screwed up.

I would be a better teenage daughter to my parents.... less mouthy and fresh.

I would spend more time with my grandparents as I got older.

I would be a better Mom to my kids.... more patient and understanding.

I would NOT yell at DD on her first day of 3 y/o preschool (yup.... I'm the terrible mother who yelled about being late).

I would make SURE that the doctors treated DS's hearing loss at a younger age so that he didn't struggle with reading and spelling and speech later in life. (I kept saying there was a problem, but no one seemed to believe me.)

I would be a better wife.... more patient, more giving, less "always right" (according to DH I am ALWAYS right! :lmao:).

I would procrastinate less.

I would get my weight under control in my teens and KEEP it under control.

I would get a better education and actually USE that education in a fulfulling career.

I would keep up with my scrapbooking!!:rotfl:

I would NOT buy that stupid used (former wreck) Nissan Pulsar in 1987 that broke down CONSTANTLY (including the FIRST day I owned it!).

I would build my house a bit bigger to start with, instead of always wishing it was bigger.

I would NEVER buy a brand new car... always a slightly used car. They depreciate too fast.

Wow.... guess I have a LOT I would change.

I would be more consistent with exercising early in life, because trying to start it later is hard.

I also wouldn't be so quiet and shy as a kid.

I'd try to be more health minded from an earlier age, and I wouldn't be so hard on myself. I'd let myself know that there ARE good guys out there who will love you for you, so you shouldn't spend your entire college years thinking you're not as worthy of love as the Barbie doll sitting next to you.

I'd also read the bible more often so I'd have more of it stored in my heart by age 30 than I do now at age 30.

I'd be taller, say 5'6. I think I'm handling everything else fairly well.

I don't that we would be able to choose what or we are in subsequent lives, but I guess I would like to suppose I would be happy being pretty much like I am in this life only with the ability to make improvements based on past experience.
