What would be the "simplest" meals at Akershus and CRT

We have lunch reservations for Akershus on Friday and a late dinner reservation at CRT on the 30th. My husband is a rather picky eater though. Definitely a cheeseburger and fries kind of guy. He will look at both menus and have absolutely no idea what he wants so I was hoping to have some suggestions for him. I see that CRT does have fried chicken which he doesn't generally love when it's on the bone but I do think he would eat it but was wondering if there was something else he may eat.

So for those who prefer a pretty basic simple meal what do you order at these two places?

They will make most menu items without sauces etc. I would just have him pick the protein that he is most fond of and ask for it to be prepared "plain" or to his specifications.

I don't know if you can get any simpler than fried chicken and macaroni and cheese. Also a chasseur sauce is served with the beef tenderloin. It's a fairly simple gravy usually made from demi glace which is usually prepared with beef and veal bones. There is a local German restaurant that serves a version of schnitzel with this sauce.

I agree. My wife is quite picky and she's looked at the menu in anticipation of our ADR for September. She is going with the open-faced chicken sandwich.
