What would be the best approach for a group of 7 on MDE?

Planning our first trip with two additional daughters in law and not sure the best approach for setting them up in MDE. Currently have our two sons in my MDE as they do not have their own. The new daughters do not have their own and are not in my MDE either.

Option One:
Add the girls in and manage everyone. Pro is simplicity for adding tickets and managing $ILL or Genie+ purchases. Cons are difficult for each person to use MDE for anything, and I don't think they can use magic mobile at all.
Option Two: Delete my boys and have them and their spouses create individual accounts. Pro is Magic Mobile becomes available. Con is my boy's old magic bands are lost as they are linked to their current profiles. I know we can link accounts but how easy would it be for me to still purchase $ILL or Genie+ for all? Can I still link everyone's tickets as I'll be purchasing those?

Would love opinions and info on experiences others have had.

There are 2 schools of thought.
1) All adults have their own MDE, you can send an invite to your sons to merge the managed profiles with ones they create. As long as everyone is in your friends and family, you can buy ILLs, Genie + etc
2) If nobody is ever going again, they all stay as managed profiles.

I agree with above, although I might suggest that each family have its own MDE account in one person’s name, with their spouse’s profile managed by them as F&F in that MDE account.

If your son creates his own MDE, then you just need to link his profile in your F&F list to his new account. You do that by tapping his name in your MDE and then following the instructions to Connect With This Guest. If he manages his wife’s profile, you need to use the Add a Guest link at the bottom of your F&F list to send him an email asking to link her profile to your F&F list.

If the daughter in law creates her own MDE account, use the Add a Guest link at the bottom of your F&F list.

In any case, make sure everyone gives permission to make and share plans and to view each other’s photos!
