what works out better $500 pin or ap rate plus a problem?

we are ap holders we are staying march 6 to march 10 using the ap rate
$459.00 room only.

Now, i get this pin code we need to stay an extra day one day pass (4 adult tix)
and he quotes me at $1100 .

am i better taking the pin code rate??

Now another problem....after i rec'd the price no problems giving the pin code to the cm at all. talked to dh he said call back to see how much it would be to add more days on a pass. i called back up and the cm said its not my last name on the email that i rec'd. for some reason it is my
dh's first name and my maiden name i ended up waiting on hold for about 53 minutes because the cm was talking to her boss i finally got so fed up i just hung up. I told the cm i would bring in my marraige certificate if they needed proof.

my feeling is if disney makes a mistake when i clearly rec'd an email to my own personal computer it should be my pin code?? when you go to a store and the wrong price is on an item the store must honor that price so why can't disney. sorry i had to vent!! do you think i should call back and try again???

ok...spoke to a nice cm and he figured it all out for me yes we are taking the promo and only staying 4 nights which gives us a $400 gift card i was surprised you could do this. He said he was sorry when i told him about last night and that the pincode was in the wrong last name and said i don't need to show my marriage licence at time of check in.

When i figured out the price with this promo vs the ap rate it actually works out better to take the pin code even though we are ap holders we are coming down in august anyway and we are bring a few extra kids in tow so i need to get them passes anyway and the gift card we can use at the parks for meals.

So they let you book only 4 nights instead of 5 nights, and gave you a $400 gift card instead of a $500 gift card with the same PIN code?

yup what happened was i was willing to say i was staying for the 5 nights and really leave on the 4th (we had a later flight) just to get the
$500 gc..but since we have dme booked he said we couldn't do it
so he put in for the 4 nights and told me i would be getting a $400 gc
at check in!!!
