It's like, like, when you don't really mean similar to or feel good about. I hate it when I hear myself say it but can't seem to break the habit. Used to be just valley girls, but it spread like a disease.
It seems like, I mean as if it's a word we use to cushion everything. You don't really take a stand and say with certainty "it was terrible", you instead say "it was like, so terrible." I think it allows us to distance ourselves from what we say. Am I getting too deep here?
Wicked. And it doesn't mean evil either.
"That movie was wicked awesome" "It's wicked hot outside" "The lake is wicked high"
Probably every other sentence has wicked in it. It's part of being from New England
this is a little embarassing since I'm the mom of an almost 10 year old but I say "like" "seriously" "whatever" and "word" lol Hey I'm a hip mom, I think. Word!
