I love that fudge! It was from a family friend...her daughter doesn't cook, so she said she would give the good recipes to me!!!! I need to check out that Pioneer woman...it sounds awesome!!! I have never had Wasabi peas. What are they exactly...what do they taste like..? Your co-workers will love the chex mix!!
Do any of you know where the best place is to get small baggies with cute twist ties for my Shex Mix Gifts? Not Ziplock..the taller ones that are open on the top...maybe Michaels or Hobby Lobby, or Party City? Is that where ya'll get yours? Since I have always done cookies/fudge, we just wrapped them in Saran or Holiday printed Ziplocks...

Happydog~ I didn't get to do MP this weekend...Thank goodness I didn't buy the tickets!! DD is sick!!! I think she'll be better tomorrow...but, trying to keep the menu pretty plain and boring today!!!
I do put our tree up early..last year it was the week of Thanksgiving-this year might even be a week earlier....My hubby is a Christmas fanatic..so it's never too early for him...plus we have so much going on..I want to do it before so I can focus on Thanksgiving dinner, my mom and my sons birthday, and then I will be packing....Just trying to make it easier on me!!!!!!

Wasabi peas are hot (not too hot), just like the plop of green stuff that you get in the pre-packaged sushi...it's the horseradish that makes them hot.

I usually get the bags at a party store, but I think they have them at Target, as well...maybe even Dollar Tree.

Day 6 Fri Dec 12

Okay,...I have neglected my poor PTR this week 'cuz 2 outta 3 kids have been sick...so...onto Friday!!! If we went to MVMCP on Thursday..this will be a sleep lllllaaaaaattttteeee day!!!!! Today is a free day sort of..... we have dinner ressies at Garden Grill over at Epcot this evening...so I think today we'll just see what we want to do..maybe hit Hollywood again, maybe swim, maybe tour more of Epcot. I know at some point kids are gonna start wanting souvies...by now we start looking out seriously!!!!!
I don't know if we will buy them today or not....just have to wait and see!!! Probably tomorrow on the shopping...we like to do DTD, so we may not make it over there today. But...I know we are gonna have fun today no matter what! We are at the Happiest Place on Earth, right?
So....Today and Thursday I plan on really getting some rest in! Of course, at any point in this trip if the weather doesn't cooperate...I have some breathing room to mix it up! I would like to tour a few resorts....maybe today is a good day to ride the 'rail!!!

Day 6 looks real nice Shawna! I envy very much your laid back style! I just have to see and do every little thing and sleeping in on vacation (esp @ WDW) makes me feel like I am constantly late for something or that I am missing out on doing something really important! Man oh man, am I ever starting to sound like a commando!

Well,,,we were better, but DS13 had to go to the Dr today..he had a fever and now he is starting a sinus infection...got him some Antibiotics and he went to bed early..maybe he will be not sooooo tired tomorrow!

I have always been like that too....but I am tired of coming home tired!!! It works out if I get at least one day(maybe 2) for us to just do a lot of nothing!!!

Well, good news fellow readers! Guess what we got tonight? AIRFARE!!!! I know some of you have been biting your nails over this...but we got a good price...they had went up to $298 each RT....we got them tonight for $214!!!! Which of course meant they used up less flyer miles!! We are soooo excited! I was glad to get the exact times we wanted also...somedays they weren't advertising the return flight we needed! We wanted a late afternoon so we could do the MK one last time. But...they had it & we got it!!!! Hallelujah!!!!

Good to know that sometimes there are good airfares late in the game. My cousin is waiting and hoping fares go down. They are about 490 R/T right now

Hey ya'll!!! Yeah...I was wondering how long dh was gonna wait!!! I told him he had to get it this week no matter what price!
We are leaving out at 9 the first day...so we oughtta get into Orlando around 12---on the day home we leave at 6....so we will probably hop on the ME around 3......
Kim~ I just posted on your FB. I feel the same way today...I had to take my older son to get new jeans...he wasn't with me when I got the other two jeans last week. Had some returns, some errands, and tons of laundry..and had to take DS13 to the Dr...so that was around an hour of not really doing anything! I am just tired now! I think tomorrow will be better Oh, I also had to take ds10 and his new jeans to the alteration lady...they always have to be hemmed quite a bit.So...that was a good thing to check off the list!! I guess I got a few more things done than I thought I did! I might go ahead and post our next day.......

Day 7 Sat Dec 13

Well...this morning we are gonna start off with breakfast at Chef Mickey's!! I think....LOL... we have been here before and it was soooo crazy in there! As soon as we left, the kids wanted to know what could we go eat! They are so hyped up they don't eat much of anything. But, I went ahead and got ressies for around 9. We can always change our minds
Well, today is gonna be for making sure we got all the souvies we REALLY wanted. This is a bitter sweet day...we know buying goodies marks the end of a fabulous vacation...but we get a new little something to bring home!! I don't know where else we are going to eat today..I am sure by the middle of the week we will have decided...but I like to leave some time open in case we had to miss something or just had an urge to go back to a favorite place. I know we will be going to DTD...the kids love to shop over there. And I know we gotta hit Lego world one more time!!!
Of course...I am the Queen...so I will do all the rest of the laundry tonight and pack up as much as I can. I am thinking we may do Epcot too if we get a chance. I read a thing yesterday that said to avoid Epcot on Friday..which is where we had dinner planned...so I may switch it around...have to wait and see!!!!

I called this morning and gave them my info for my ME stuff.She said my paper work should come some time this week since my balance is paid off!! Woo Hoo!!! Got two sick kids today!!! DS10 is running fever again....I guess he maybe relapsing? And DS13 is running fever still from yesterday and is coughing...come on meds--kick in!!! I feel a headache...ds10 has one too...boy, what a day this is already! Well, we just gotta pray and plow through it!!!!

I finally emailed the itinerary of events and ADRs to my SILs. One responded that it looked good to her and thanked me for my amazing efforts (okay, I added the amazing!) I'm glad since they all said - do whatever you think. Made me so nervous!! Of course, I started by saying, you don't have to do what I'm planning ...

Hope the kiddos get better soon - in my world, meds are a good thing!! My girls are coughing their heads off still (about 5 days) but no fevers. Whew! Now DH is coughing! I'm thinking about getting a hotel room for a few days!

Sounds like my house. The boys have been coughing for about a week and a half (no fevers ). Then last night DH didn't feel so well. I gave him some meds and sent him to bed at 8:30!

I told them - I'm the only healthy one and watch I'll be the one who ends up sick right before vacation.
