After a much needed sleep, we woke to greet another beautiful SUNNY day which made me so happy after '09s rainy trip. I still had visions of waking to torrential rains.
I am not a morning person, but I set my clock for 6:30 am so we could get out by 8 am and enjoy the morning before it got too hot then some afternoon pool time. I let kids sleep until close to 7:30. They had a bowl of cheerios and Dh and I skipped. I had run to port royal for coffee but that
nescafe stuff is just bad so it was the last time I wasted 5 minutes to walk there.
We got out close to on tme, so by 8:15 we were at bus stop with again very little wait(not what I expected from what others post about CBR.) by a few minutes after 9 we were in
Epcot.
First stop, Soarin'. Woo Hoo 15 minute wait for standby! Shane was as we expected too small and very unhappy about not getting on. Jesse had been on our last trip as well and they gave us a pass for "the next time" but it got destroyed from being in my pants in the rain. They did not have one for Shane this time. He cried and cried "But I am taller, I am a big boy." I hung around while Dh went on so I could swap and then he took Shane on Living with the land boat ride which made everything better.
Jesse though it was "awesome" (the new word of the trip) and was so thrilled to get a second ride and this time with the baby swap and no wait.
We headed to grab a bite for DH and I, and knew the kids would be fine with another meal. We both chose the breakfast thing on foccacia type bread. It was weird, Ham, turkey egg and provolone. I could have done with out the meats. I said I was on dining plan and the CM had no idea if breakfast potatoes were supposed to come with it so I waited while she asked. I can not say it was worth it, thankful I didnt pay OOP for it. The kids ate some and didnt seem to mind as much.
When DH was close to done, I said I would run to Test track to get a FP while they finished and did a bathroom run so we could get over to nemo next.
I brisk walk and back and they were just getting to Nemo and Friends. DH and I reminised about the 10,000 leagues way back but agreed this was more fun. Wait was 5 minutes! Again, thankful we arrived early.
After that, the turtle talk was nearing start time so we looked into the tanks, watched the dolphins(could have done that all day.) Jesse took his place on the rug and did love the show, but Shane wouldnt leave us. He didnt seem too interested.
This particular day I seemed to loose my groove of having a firm plan. I feel like I lost a lot of time, stopped a lot to check my map and missed too many attractions/rides.
Next was figment, I forgot how cute it was and it was a nice break sitting for a few minutes. After that, it was time for Jesse first "thrill ride" this trip so on to
Test track! We reminded him if he liked it he would again get to ride once with each of us and then Shane again started getting upset. We hoped to have him play in the fountains at that time but we were not on schedule for them

Jesse absolutely LOVED test track, he was more than happy to get a second run. This time he went with DH and he did the arms up too.
Shane and I walked back to the fountains-No luck but the Jaminators were just finishing so we watched and he got stickers. Back at Test track we went into the store, played with the "stuff" there(nothing special there) but cast member let him drive a remote control car! Score! Now we have a happy kid again. I also let him make his first pressed penny and he held it like it was gold(I wasnt expecting him to care- see mom doesnt know everything!)
DH and Jesse came out and Jesse then made his pressed penny. It was a bit of a fight to get them into my purse for safe keeping.
Somehow, it was nearing 1 by then and heating up so we decided to head back for pool time.
All of my good luck with buses leaving but I had to deal with the many stops to get back to Trinidad S. DH packed a fresh cooler a few beers for us and juice and water for kids.
No one as hungry for lunch so we swam for a few hours and it was well needed.
Our ADR was for 5:30 in Mexico so we left pool at 3:30 I think and went back to freshen up. This was a bit of a mad rush, should have left earlier but it was a nice rest. We hurried and were out by 4!
Back to Epcot again no bus issues so we arrived quick. It was early enough that security bag ck was almost empty so we got back in before 4:30. Sure enough, this is what happened next…
They were both asleep just beyond the turnstiles! So Dh and I did the only logical thing, got margaritas! (you can see them in the cup holders of the stroller, hard to push them while drinking one I must say.) I stopped to take some pics since I had my DSLR at that time.
We walked around that side of World show case enjoying the quiet before heading back to Mexico after waking the boys up.
We were seated almost immediately but right by the stairs. The kids were excited about the Volcano and the "night sky." I knew at that meal I was keeping them well hydrated- we took 7 trips to the bathroom during dinner between the two!
We decided to get an appetizer and kids were enjoying chips and salsa. We decided on the Tostadas de Tinga and both of us loved them!
Ods got the beef taco to share with yds, came with rice and fruit. DH and I got
jalapeno and Blood Orange Margarita.
I liked both but orange was sweet and DH didn like jalapeno so we each enjoyed our own.
For dinner we decided again to share, I got pork Chili Rellenos and DH Carne Asada. His came with beans(?) and I got cilantro rice. We split it up and I can say for both us of DELICIOUS!! I am so thrilled we again went with our heart and booked it. I read so many bad reviews I was scared but DH and I have great memories and had to do it. The food was fresh and well -seasoned and just enjoyable.
Dessert for the kids were churros with carmel sauce(ok, they were full)
I think I got I got vanilla ice cream with carmel sauce but cant remember and no idea about DH. We took no more then a couple bites anyway. More desserts gone to waste on the Dining Plan!
We took our time eating so had little time to walk around before finding a spot for illuminations. We take a ride on the Three caballeros then on to Maelstrom(not a fav but the kids liked it.)
We decided(on a roll) to get beers but stopping in American Pavilion we got Sam Adams which is well just terrible! I drank some and threw it out- what a waste.
We stopped to take a few pics in italy but really didnt get a change to enjoy very much of World Showcase.
About 8:25 we chose a spot at Japan, right at the rail with what turned out to be a great view.
Again Ds said it was awesome, he was right!
The kids did such an amazing job of being patient, getting along and even staying up late. We didn’t get back to the resort until close to 10 pm and they were right to sleep. DH and I went outside to sit, this time with a beer I liked and could drink and I did catch up with some homework! It was a wonderful day , lots of fun memories once again and more to come…..
