What will I probably NOT see during November?

I am seriously considering a first time trip to DL in Nov. 2004. But it seems, after reading through a bunch of posts, that a lot of the shows and rides close down for refurbishment, etc during the fall and winter. Historically, what can I expect to miss if we visit in early November (we will be there over a weekend)? I'd love to see the DL version of Fantasmic, the Aladdin show, a parade, fireworks, Indy ride and Matterhorn. I know that a year out is hard to predict...but if you could give me some ideas it would be great. I really don't want to miss the best stuff on my first visit . Also, what rides/attractions have been closed down long-term (I think Space Mtn for one). THANK YOU SO MUCH. I'm such a DL novice.

Hi AmyBeth68,
We just got back. We were there from Nov.2 throu Nov. 8. The parades were on everyday but the shows like Fantasmic, the Aladdin show and the Fireworks are only Fri, Sat and Sun. but during the week the parks were a lot less people.

I misread you post. I did not read 2004!!!!

Yes space mountain, big thunder mountain railroad, superstar limos are long term closures.

It is difficult to say what it will be like in one year, They are prepping for DL 50th, so who knows.

Tower of Terror should be well under way by then!!!

What is Superstar Limos? We were in DL in March 2002 and I don't remember seeing this attraction while we were there.

justhat: Superstar Limo is a ride at Grand California. If you missed it, you didn't miss much. If I remember correctly, it was a little like the Great Movie Ride at MGM Studios WDW except that it was based upon ABC Television shows and was not nearly as well done. If it reopens, hopefully it will more memorable.

AmyBeth68: It's hard to know what to expect a year from now, but if you can wait until mid November (say after 11/11 Veteran's Day), you are more likely to have fewer closures and a little Christmas magic. Going in November, especially early November, there's a pretty good chance that one of the things you mentioned will be closed for refurbishment.
