What will happen to ADRs if cancel onsite ressies?

All - I'm seriously considering changing our ressie to off-site. I'd want to keep some of out ADRs but if I cancel our resort ressie will they cancel all of the ADRs or will I get a chacne to do that.

How would you handle it?

I'd probably like to keep 4 out of 7.

ADR's are separate & are canceled separately. You can post them on the ADR wanted/trade boards for other members to get a chance to grab an ADR they have been trying to get or just call the ADR # with your confirmation #'s and cancel.

We did this Christmas 2006. I didn't cancel our onsite resort ressie until a few weeks before our trip. The dining ressies were still there, but I did double check just to make sure.

Your ADR are made by using your phone number. I think they ask if you are staying at a Disney Resort to see if you are booking too early but it is not tied in to your resort ressie. If you are cancelling your trip please cancel your ADR's as well so others can use them.:)

Dining reservations and resort reservations are two totally separate systems. You can make dining reservations without a resort reservation (don't have something set up at your 180 day mark, staying off site, local). You can change your resort reservation 15 times and your dining won't be affected at all.
