If anyone visit DL this past July? What was the weather like for this past July? I always see the avg temps but what is it really like? We are planning our first DL trip for the second-third week of July 2013. Should we change it to June? We usually visit WDW during the second week of June so we are use to the HOT humid temps there.

We were there the third week of July and it was in the mid to high 80's. It was nice and cool in the mornings, and again in the evenings. We took a break during the hottest part of the day, and it worked out just fine. If you change to June be aware of the AP blockout schedule, and grad nights. Both affect the crowd levels.

It was beautiful. I went in July 2010 and July of this year (2010 the 2nd week, this year the first week). Both times the weather was amazing, mid-80s during the day and dropping into the 60s in the evenings and in the mornings. Since I've been used to very hot summers, 60s in the evenings is cold for me, so I'd pop back to my room right around dinner time and change from shorts or capris into jeans and a sweater.

Also, the crowds weren't a problem either year, even on the 4th of July this year crowds were no problem except for at Carsland. I don't think we waited more than 30 minutes for anything, using fastpass and common sense.

Maybe I shouldn't tell people that though, and they'll continue making September and October super crowded and I can keep enjoying July...

We were there 7/11-7/16 and we ran into freak humidity, some showers and heat.

We went in 2010 (last week of July) and this year (9th - 19th). 2010 was beautiful weather. Mid 80's and very pleasant. This year we hit humidity and it even rained on the 12th. The temps were not too bad so it wasn't "stop in your tracks" humidity, but just unseasonably weird weather. Given the hot, hot temps they've experienced recently I would plan an early summer trip over a late summer one.

If you can survive the heat (!) and humidity (!) in Orlando in June, then you should be fine at DLR in the summer. The weather next summer may or may not be ideal (who knows at this point?), but either way, the odds of it beating Orlando for hot and humid are slim!
