What weird things do you like to view

I would say the end of the cake bowl.

I feel like you've been interviewing us for the oddest job yet.

Since I was a kid I would get lost looking into clear puddles or small bodies of water where you can see all kinds of pebbles, rocks, bugs, etc. Same with seeing things trapped in ice. I kinda want to try creating a scene and drowning it in resin.

Where I live I could drive out to open fields and explore old mines. plus I love to explore old buildings that have buildings still up even before I was born,

the end of desert flood bowl caked with mud and sifted sand like powder sugar...all kinds of debris caught in the bowl accumulates as the water recedes or the flashflood was not intense, like the one last night while I was sleeping, not enough water to move a McD drink cup or sliced oragne peels from a compost pile dumped over the bank of the dry river bed wash. as the caked mud dries in the bowl, it will curl and look like slices of expensive choclate one views in the glassed show cases at the bakery. Tracks of birds and coyotes captured in the flour of the desert at the end of the bowl which captured the last of the water that did not flash flood to the colorado river end as it should....can't have your caked mud and consume the natural history.

I watch Thames mudlarking videos. The mudlarking isn't weird in and of itself, but I enjoy the endless stretches of mud, rocks, and pieces of junk that are all over the bed of the river at low tide. I can't think of anything else...like the poster above, I watch the pimple popping, Dr. Pimple Popper to be precise. I guess that is pretty strange...

Spider web making. Captivating.

Back in July a spider made a web in the top corner of the office window. I watched him grow by the week quite large. Told DH not to remove that web. I watched in late Sept a sparrow hook into the screen, look up & ponder whether this spider would make a good meal. I think sparrow decided too risky and flew off. The spider eventually died naturally, his corpse swinging from an incredibly sturdy silk for 2 months of wind & rain. On a cold dreary day in Nov I watched a bird come and pluck his shell for lunch. Somehow the whole process was very satisfying to witness.
