What was your shortest trip from what distance

Any time at WDW is better than no time. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I was in Orlando for a really busy business trip in December, and even though everyone thought I was crazy for spending money on a full-fare one day ticket, I still went to Epcot for a night. It was a blast.

Ok add me to the crazy list.. my last trip was Solo I flew from Portland Maine to Orlando on a Thursday afternoon and came back Sunday afternoon -- it was a midlife/birthday trip for myself last Oct! I had such a great time!!!

How's this...

DH and I are leaving Friday morning at 7:00am and will drive 700 miles (approximately 10-12 hours depending on traffic), take into account the time change and we should arrive in Orlando around 6:00pm that night. Saturday morning we will be at the rope drop at Animal Kingdom for the Expidition Everest preview for APs and DVC. That afternoon we are goint to Magic Kingdom to close the park and then it's over to DTD for the rest of the night. Sunday morning we are leaving at 7:00am to make the drive back home!!

And all of this just so that we can ride 1 Roller Coaster!

Are we crazy? Sure, but we are really enjoying life! Shouldn't everyone!

My DD and I just booked a trip from Monday morning to Thursday morning. We are flying down from Canada and staying 3 nights at Coronado Springs. We are both teachers and the rest of our families will be at work!! We are so excited!!!

DH and I are doing the same thing, except we are leaving about noon on Friday, so with the time change should get there about midnite. We have 690 miles driveway to Disney Property. We have an 8:00 ADR for Donalds Breakfastosaurus on Saturday, then it's off to Expedition Everest!! We're then meeting up with the AllEarsnet.com folks at 10:30, then playing the afternoon by ear. We have dinner ADR at Fulton's Crab House on Saturday night, then maybe off to Adventurer's Club, then we'll probably catch Soarin' first thing Sunday morning, then start the drive back. Then back to work on Monday!!

Ok...I thought I was a die hard disney fan...but you all have me beat. My trip doesn't seem so bad. I'm excited.

I've done it on a bus from Marietta Ohio.. left at 6PM Tuesday and got there about 12NOON Wednesday..

Switched drivers in Charlotte.

Not fun.

2 nights and three days--from Buffalo, flight arriving at Midnight. It was totally worth it and I would do it again if the opportunity arose.

2 hours in the park from 5 minutes away. :thumbsup2

We've also flown down for two days from 1600 miles away.

Flew in from Chicago in the a.m., had late lunch at Whispering Canyon (when it was brand new!) went to Pleasure Island to celebrate 21st Birthday, then flew home the next day. So one night only!
