I think the free dining for Thanksgiving as well as Christmas. Never before such a deal that I know of.

That was not for the general public. There were a number of people who got emails with free dining pin codes that has Thanksgiving dates included. These were random and name specific and were non-transferrable. Disney Visa also released some free dining pin codes that included some Thankgiving dates, but you had to be a card holder and book by a certain date.
