What was Disney thinking??!

:rotfl2: too funny... we couldnt stand this ride either... The smell of his breath was w/ us for the rest of the day... ugh! They need to get rid of it and put something else there... QUICK! :teeth:

(for the poster above, the ride does go dark and imo: your 2 year old might get scared)

I know, what was Disney thinking. Did they think no one would notice that it is the same as AE except with stitch? No one in my family had been on AE except me, but they too were dissappointed anyway. That ride is horrible. I think they just wanted to get something in the space quick. If they didn't want to waste the space, they should have just left AE until they found something better to replace it with. Well that is just my opinion.

Does the attraction go dark, like AE did? Would a 2 1/2 year old be terrified or is there a restriction on that age anyway? (AE scared my older daughter to tears!!! when it went dark!!)
Yes it goes dark.

We do not like it, in fact I agree with you 100%. What were they thinking? They were thinking CHEAP. Stitch is a ridiculous, joke of an attraction. Not that I loved Alien Encounter, but I would rather have it than Stitch. I would rather have a true Disney-quality attraction than either of the two. Another example of a ridiculous attraction that deserves a "what were they thinking" is Journey Into Your Imagination and the new Tiki birds. DON'T MESS WITH THE CLASSICS PLEASE (referring to the Tiki Birds of course).

On a positive note, Expedition Everest lives up to the Disney quality for sure. As does Mission Space, although I won't ride it but my husband assures me it's fabulous. I get motion sick too easily. The quality needs to be there, no taking the cheap or easy way out.

I also hated this ride- but my 9 and 10 year old like it. It is the most uncomfortable ride and it was just alot of confusing noise. What a waste of space.

bring back mission to mars!!

That would have been far better! -- but actually, when compared to SGE -- having a toilet plunger stuck to one's head while being given shock therapy would be an improvement!

how terrible the Stitch attraction is. Does anyone actually like this attraction? :confused3

It is not fun at all! Granted we are traveling w/out kids - but why would one want to be strapped into that mess is beond me!

We like the whole Lilo and Stitch thing, but still thought it was hideous. It isn't entertaining at all.

You would think that there would be a good Stitch attraction with four movies and a television series.

We actually liked it! Been on twice, and going back this yr.. I really don't see what the big deal is.. my dd loved it (she's 5 now)
I mean, yes, if you are looking for a "ride" this is not it.. but we liked it just the same.

I don't like it at all. The chilli dog burp haunts me to this day!

Yes, it was terrible. Luckily there was no wait when we rode it or else I would have been upset about wasting my time in line for it.

I heard the ride (if you even call it that) was really neat and scary before stitch came along when it had the alien in it. This was my first disney trip though, so everything was new to me. :p

Personally I enjoy it, its not a thriller ride but, its cool. Also its directed towards the younger crowd and there has to be some Attractions that are not high intensity or thrill. :crazy2: Anyways I like it, I'm going back on it, but, what it comes down to is a difference of opinion.

Okay - another vote for the ride. I liked it. I thought it was very appropriate to stitches character....

Oh yeah, even my kids would like to skip this ride!

I like Stich...the character; but the attraction is B-O-R-I-N-G!!! They need to add to it or something!
