What the big secret was about my maternal grandfather was that involved my great grandmother using political connections to get his record sealed.

When I found out a few years ago and wow, it was an unpleasant revelation.

My family went to Orlando every year for my mom's work convention and my parents would drop we kids off at MK (the only park at the time) while they attended the meetings. As the oldest child, I was in charge of hustling my siblings around the park.
My sister who is 13 years younger than I am just told me last year that she had always been afraid to go on things like Space Mountain and Haunted Mansion, but never said anything because she thought that she didn't have a choice. I was like "darn right"!
