What VMK really needs.....

OK, here I was chewing on the fact that I cannot for the life of me firgure out what I have half the time, so I think VMK should give each player and inventory list! in the charachter itself..
something like this:
Item number owned Location(s)
Skeleton Chair 4 Skull Rock
Explorer's Boots 1 Clothes Ineventory
Esmerelda Pin 325 Pin Inventory


and in addition, how about they make "clothes racks" for us to purchase and put in our rooms, and maybe "pin boards" too - with the clothes, I never know what I have any more, I am somewhat color blind too so purple and blue are the same color to me....

What a good idea! I get really aggravated with my inventory sometimes. I can never find what I have - and don't bother to try to organize it! I had a bunch of duplicate NPC pins that I wanted to put at the end of my list so I could see the extras of the good/tradable/giftable pins. I spent quite a while putting pins on & taking them off to get everything grouped the way I wanted & then closed the window. I opened the window about 10 minutes later to see if I had want someone was wanting to trade for & everything was right back where it had started! LOL

Maybe you should send your suggestion to the black hole?

I like your ideas. It's hard to keep track, especially of clothes & pins.

What I would like to see is a Guest Book - where others could comment on your room layouts. I've had times where I would go into a teleporter and just keep teleporting in and out of rooms - normally with no one in them - and would see a layout that was really cool and it would be nice to leave a comment or two for the owner.

This is a great idea - all smart ideas probably originate in Warwick though! Woot RI!

I especially would like to have my clothes organized. It takes me forever to change from one outfit to the next because I have so many things.

That's a fine idea. I would be happy if they would just allow us to move the items in our inventory around so we could group things together. (Particularly in the pins where pins that go in "sets" are scattered throughout your inventory.)

Two other things which would help that I'd like to see:

A closet/wardrobe: It could look like the wardrobe from Beauty and Beast or (tie-in opportunity Disney, are you listening?) it could resemble the wardrobe from the upcoming Narnia film. In it, you could place all your costume items that you aren't wearing and don't want to carry around with you. It would make changing clothes in the game MUCH faster. (I have suggested this one to Yavn. He liked it so we'll see.)

A pin book: Just like the photo albums, the pin books would be placed in your room and you can put all the pins you aren't wearing in it. Then, guests could flip through it when they visit you.

I'd like it if you could specify a quantity of how many of something you want to buy.

For example, I had a game where I was giving away Autopia pins and some other things, which meant I had to buy a lot of them.

It's a pain having to click buy - ok - ok 30 or 40 times in a row, when you could just do buy 40 - ok - ok, and be done.

It seems like that would be something pretty easy to program into the game, and it could easily calculate whether or not you have enough credit to complete the purchase.

me too trixie, but with the clothes it is hard because I cannot tell the difference between alot of the colors and there are just SO many, 10 for each style shirt 3 different styles with the same design and like 20 designs

That's what I am trying to do, the the info in Excel. I have just started so don't have as much as others, but I do have several egos between my DD and me!

Hopefully going to make our "Born in the Park" peeps tonight if it's not to crowded at the MNSSHP!

What, with the mules I too have turned to Excel. The most frustrating thing is it doesn't even keep things in any order in you inventory.

I've thought about dress dummies to hold the costumes and to be able to show them off.

LOL, I thought I was the only obsessive person here.

I created a word file, with lots of tables in it. Screen shots of the costumes and other clothing I won are in there by color group and kind of clothing it is.
Color going down, kind of clothing going across.
