What Views at AKL Concierge?

Can someone tell me what views are available, when you book AKL Concierge?

There are no guaranteed views for AKV Concierge. You can request either a pool view or a savanna view, but they will just be requests. The DVC Concierge rooms are on the 6th floor and the actual view may be limited due the the overhang from the thatched roof.

There are a total of five two bedroom lockoff units for AKV Concierge on the sixth floor. Three with savanna view and two with pool view. At least one, maybe two are handicapped accessible.

I am getting ready to have my second stay, It's not for the view. We love Savanna view, Concierge is wonderful, but our view was very lacking last year. We are hoping for better this time.

We stayed in a Concierge studio and did end up with Savanna view, but that's not the reason to book concierge. Our regular Savanna view on the Uzima Savanna was superior. We enjoyed the Concierge staff, the food and beverage offerings at the lounge, the special elevator keycard (gold), and the opportunity to book both the Sunrise and Sunset Safaris.

You're so much up under the overhand that you have very poor views. the end unit nearest the lounge (studio) likely has teh best view since you get out from under the overhand on the end of the balcony. IMO, it's view or conceirge and never shall the two meet.

That's the Studio that we had... I was not overly impressed at all with the view from that room. What I did enjoy was being so close to the lounge. That was a huge plus. Now, the two Safari's were a huge highlight for our week. We are doing Sunrise again... I am not a early morning person...it was well worth it.
We smelled food on the balcony the whole time we used it from that room. I don't know where it was coming from but one of the kitchen vents must be close by. I love sitting on the balcony and just watch... well, I had a lot to think about there with all the aroma.
