We will be there Dec 17-23, and I am trying to decide whether it is worth asking for a particular view.

What do you think?

Thanks

 :yo-yo:

Here is a link with some room reports and it will give you some view comments. http://members.aol.com/InstImpres/wildernesslodge.pdf This will give you an idea of “sectional views”. It is extremely difficult to ask for a specific room (as well as trying on the CM’s). With the new room ready policy, guests have reported getting several choices at check-in and this may than help

I have also created a sheet that just has some highlights of rooms that may not work for everyones needs. You might find that helpful instead:

The files are in adobe acrobat and which can be downloaded from this site for free:

WOW, thanks...

I really appreciate the information!!!

We ask for a view of trees, and have not been disappointed yet! :p

The VWL is the red roofed building. One of the things I like about it is that most of the rooms have the same view....woods!! :)

Thanks for all the great information on this thread. Can anyone comment on the enclosed balconies the 2 studio units on the 5th floor? enclosed? Why would that be?

We always request the pool view at VWL. Not very many rooms have that view though so be prepared not to get it. We had a 2BR and a studio this past December, I got one out of the two with the pool view.

(Nice picture Granny, is that new?)

I see some people report being able to see the water pageant from 4th floor rooms & fireworks from 5th floor rooms...is that something that you have to be high to see? Or...if you have a patio on the 1st...right underneath those #'ed rooms...could you stilll see them?
