"Official" 2025 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

I am tentatively planning a long weekend trip, staying off site for the first time, and only doing Jollywood Nights and MVMCP. Super excited!

Thanks for this thread! We only have 2 nights pre-Merrytime cruise the week before Thanksgiving. At first I told dh we would just have a chill 2 days doing nothing but…..lol! Hoping for a party. From historical dates it looks like the Thursday before Thanksgiving is our only option. Watching thread!

Going on a DCL Very Merrytime Christmas Cruise Dec 22-26 this year and hoping to catch a MVMCP on Dec 19. Crossing my fingers they have one that date, because that is the first day we will be able to make it to Orlando. We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge Dec 19-22. (Getting up early the 22nd and driving to Ft Lauderdale -- yikes!)

My daughter is turning 10 this December and we are surprising her with a trip to Florida. We've never been to one of the Christmas parties and we won't be staying on property. Do these parties usually sell out before the tickets go on sale to people not staying on property?

No. The first and last parties tend to sell out first but you will be just fine. Page 1 of this thread shows when party tickets sold out last year.

Hoping to attend November 28th before sailing on the Treasure very merry time cruise 11/29-12/6. We are flying down the morning of Thanksgiving. Our last MVMCP was 2013.

We will be there the morning of the 28th (Poly) and we are also sailing on the Disney Treasure! Fingers crossed they have the party on the 28th!

My mom and me did this in 2023, and are doing it again this year. We loved it so much, we're bringing my aunt and cousin with us. Have fun!!

How horrible were the normal day crowds? I'm trying to decide between 1-2 days of normal tickets with MVMCP or just MVMCP and Jollywood tickets? We have 2 kids so not sure if they can hang 2 late nights, but I would do it to avoid awful crowds.

My family, 11 of us, are heading down 2nd week of November, November 12, so hoping that a party falls on the Thursday or Friday. We haven’t decided which day, but I think we’re leaning towards the Friday just because of the way the schedule is shaking out.

We’re staying at AoA, Finding Nemo from 11/12 - 11/16 and then heading on a Merrytime Fantasy cruise from 11/16 - 11/21! The last time we did this World/MVMCP and Cruise combo was 2023.

Crowds grew as the week got closer to Thanksgiving. Sunday was what I would consider pretty normal crowds and Monday was good as well. Tuesday, the crowds started to pick up and by Wednesday evening - it was a holiday crowd. I remember going to the food court at Pop for dinner that night and the line went all the way back to the coolers for 1 station. There were also about 600 cheerleaders there to be in the parades that week.

I did the party on Tuesday night. We didn't really try to do any rides so I can't comment on that but I felt that there were almost as many people there as a "normal" park day. It IS 2 late nights so keep the littles in mind. We stayed until after the 2nd parade and I was exhausted. I'm planning to go again this year, if the party dates fall the same, but I'm going to do the party day a LOT differently so I'm not already tired by the time the party starts.
