What view at WL?

What view (or other placement request) should I ask for for our standard room at WL? We want a queen w/ bunk beds. We're on site June 28 - July 1. First time at WL.

I wouldn't ask for a particular view. Here's why.... The first time we stayed at WL with a standard room reservation, we asked for non-smoking bunkbed room and ended up with a wonderful wood's view room on the North wing. Then next time I stayed at WL with a standard view (no specific room requests) we ended up with a courtyard view. There are bunk bed room scattered throughout the resort and if that is your major request, they might end up putting you somewhere other than a standard room. Good luck. -HM

We have stayed twice at WL, first time a Woods View, second time a Courtyard View.
This is our first time booking a Standard View Room so I was hoping there were some available in the wings.
We want the same thing you asked for a non-smoking queen with bunk beds.

I have stayed at WL 3 times. The first 2, we booked standard and had a North wing view facing MK. The last time, we were pretty specific about our request. We requested North wing as close to the end of the horse-shoe as possible with bunks. We ended up with a free upgrade of North wing courtyard and our view was breathtaking. If you going during a less busy time, you will probably get upgraded anyway. So don't fret! Just wish upon a star!

We've been to the WL twice with standard views and were upgraded both times with courtyard views. May the magic rub off on you too. Besides there is no better place to stay at WDW. May I suggest that you take one day and go down to the dock at sunrise and you'll witness one of the most beautiful scenes in the whole park. Breathtaking!! Enjoy.

Thanks for all your advice. I am really hepped about staying at this facility. It sounds like we'll just go with the luck of the draw and odds are we won't be disappointed. I've wanted to stay at WL for some time now. The discount rate is helping to make it possible. Aren't the folks at Disney just great - they reduce the rate and we get to enjoy the beautiful resort.
