What "type" of picture is this?

Okay, for my current web class assignment, we're supposed to compare different compression settings and file types for quality and file size. I'd like to give these pages a more "professional sounding" name than what I currently have. I know what to use for two of these three, but not sure what type of picture you'd call the third.

This one is a landscape, specifically of some mountains just outside of Durango. But, it's "type" is landscape or scenery.

So what "type" is this? It's not really a portrait, is it?

It's the cute type. (Sorry, I can only comment on the sweet kitty). :D

I don't think so, MJ... I think still life usually refers to things like baskets of fruit or other non-animate objects. Blaze is very animate, just posing in that particular picture. :)
 
Awwww your baby has gotten so big!! I remember the kitten pics!

I also would say candid or portrait.
