What type of character meal would you like to see added at WDW?

Disney really should add on a ______ character meal....

  • Star Wars >>>

  • Villains (Cruella, Evil Queens, Zurg +++)

  • Disney Pixar (Toy Story, Incredibles, Cars, Monsters Inc., etc)

  • Pirates Meal featuring a sexy Jack Sparrow!

  • Rare Characters (like the 3 Little Pigs or Dumbo!)

  • Jungle Book or Lion King meal...

There are several I'd like to see:

*Pirates of the Carribean Character Meal
*Toy Story
and
*House of Mouse Restaurant at DHS they could have a revolving cast of characters there- kind of like on the show (DD loves this show) I think it would be neat. They could show Mickey and co. cartoons on a big screen- make the dining room look like the show, etc...

About eight years ago they did have a villain's dinner that was excellent. My grandkids loved it!!! All the villains were there . . witches, ugly stepmothers, scary pirates, Captain Hook and my favorite, Cariela Deville!!! Please bring them back!

I love the Pixar idea!! My little boy is enthralled with all of those movies and it would be awesome since you don't see those characters very often. Those movies are so popular even among adults, it would be a great theme.
The could do each room in a different theme, like Andy's room, Boo's room, Flo's Cafe, etc. I could go on and on!!!

Was popping in to say BOYS!!!!!
But looks like you guys already beat me to it.
A POTC themed meal would be FABULOUS!!
The boys would love it, and me too.
 Jack Sparrow!!!

POTC would be good but I would say the Villains would be my choice. They already have a bunch of villains in the parks so they have the costumes (Just get all the villains from the castle show). I’m thinking they would do it somewhere at the Studios. Maybe they can combine this idea with the restaurant in the ToT idea. :woohoo:

Even a mix of boy-related favorites would be nice - heroes like Hercules or some of the princes, and characters like pirates or Star Wars would be nice. It would depend on the villain for my 4-year old son though. He's scared of some of them...

Yep-Boys!!! I agree. Unless they're preschoolers, they're beyond Winnie-the-Pooh. My ds loves Cars but I imagine that'd be pretty tough to make into a character meal. If they'd had Toy Story when we went in '06, we'd have been there in a hot minute! I think a POTC meal would be extremely popular.

I wouldn't mind to see something for tween girls, too, like HSM.

Love the idea of Heroes (Buzz, Woody, Hercules)

I would love a Pirates one! I would love seeing Captain Jack! :yay:
We have gone to many character meals and I am getting a little tired of the same ones. They really should have a new one!

We have all girls, but we would be first in line for a Toy Story character meal-- especially if it had Bullseye, Woody and Jesse!

Abharmagic-- is House of Mouse still on? I didn't know it was!

I also think there was a Villian character meal before-- at 1900 years ago. Does anyone know why it was cancelled?

I wish actually that the Tea Party at the GF was not Alice In Wonderland. As much as I remember AIW from growing up in the 70s-- I can't get my kids to even watch it. And in their defense-- it is an odd movie! Not one of my favs...

good post!

My son says he would like a Toy Story meal. Although he still wouldn't want to get too close to the characters. He has no qualms about telling them that they're big, furry costumes freak him out! He really shocked Tigger with that line!

Disney heads up! Please a boys meal!!!! Pixar characters or pirates would be great!
I bet alot of moms would also be lining up to see Captain Jack at a meal

:thanks: Where was it? 1900 Park Fare!? Please share pics if anyone has them! We should share pics from all character meals!!!! I'll add some after One Tree Hill. You guys add some too! I have read some GREAT ideas on here!!!!! I hope Disney does have someone on the board that actually reads this stuff! What else did Disney offer in previous years? Anyone know? I'd love to see OLD charcater meal pics from any meal....share share!!!!

:jumping1:

A pirate themed meal would make a killing, though I think Disney is sensing it might be cooling in popularity. But it has built in Peter pan etc. I have two DD's but have to agree they need some boy themed events.

I would LOVE to see a Nightmare before Christmas meal which could be just around halloween / Christmas and be a "Haunted Feast" or something ..

Pixar would be a big one too, maybe with Toy Story 3 due they will start putting out more TS things.

I voted for the Villians, but my 1st choice would have been the 7 Dwarfs. That's a great idea! :thumbsup2

3) Pocahontas, John Smith, Governor Ratcliffe & Meeko (I picture a really lush atmosphere! Way cool!)

There use to be a meal at WL that had these charater. my DD was 3 at the time and feel in LOVE with John Smith. When he came to our table she was so embarrassed she couldn't even look at him. She just smiled and giggled!!!
It was the first charater meal we had ever done and I do not remember the food...Just how much she enjoyed meeting her first love!

To answer the question at hand though...I would love to see a boy themed meal regardless of what it was...Power Rangers, Pirates, Toy Story etc.

Oh cool!!! Was it where Whispering Canyon is now? That sounds like a great idea for WL! Do you have pictures!? We saw John Smith at the PPP last Summer but I think that's the only time we've ever seen him at WDW.
