What type of character meal would you like to see added at WDW?

Disney really should add on a ______ character meal....

  • Star Wars >>>

  • Villains (Cruella, Evil Queens, Zurg +++)

  • Disney Pixar (Toy Story, Incredibles, Cars, Monsters Inc., etc)

  • Pirates Meal featuring a sexy Jack Sparrow!

  • Rare Characters (like the 3 Little Pigs or Dumbo!)

  • Jungle Book or Lion King meal...

I'd love to see a Disney Pixar themed restaurant somewhere in Hollywood Studios. Disney Villains would be fun too! It would probably stay packed! I wish WDW would mix things up a bit and redo some older characters. It'd be nice to dine with the three little pigs or the seven dwarves! I know you can meet them at special parties but a dining option would be really fun! WHo would you like to dine with? princess:

Anything that appeals more to boys, such as villians or Pixar characters as you mentioned, but also Star Wars or pirates would be really, really cool. A character line-up that features some of the older, classic films like Peter Pan, Pinocchio or Robin Hood would be neat, too, IMO.

Personally, I'd like to see a character meal with Capt. Jack Sparrow. I'd be cool to have a whole POTC themed meal, but even if they combined Capt. Jack with Capt. Hook and Smee, that'd be fine too.

I do think Disney would make a killing with POTC/Pirates, Disney Villians, and/or Pixar character meals. Each of those have HUGE followings. Plus, if they had those characters only at the meals? $$$$$ :rotfl:

Yeah, its just beyond me why they don't have something that appeals to boys, especially older boys. The pirates thing would be great as would Star Wars. This question comes up so often and everybody always says the same thing: Something for the boys! And I also agree that Robin Hood characters, maybe Marie from the Aristocats, Tarzan and Jane, Tinkerbelle, they have endless possibilities, I just dont' understand why they don't use their own inventory!

Heros- Mulan, Hercules, Pocohantas, Peter Pan, Buzz Lightyear.... come on there are tons to pick from.

My son would LOVE a Star Wars meal!!! POTC would stay packed like the castle! I wish they would let Tink meet people even if it's just for a party but to have her at a meal...that'd be so cool!!! The PIXAR thing has endless possibilities! I would love to see something, anything new!!! I love Mickey but he's everywhere! He has to be getting a lot of overtime! ;)

I vote for a Pirate meal with Capt Jack! (They could even include Peter Pan and Wendy for the little ones) But I agree that a boy-themed meal is missing and would be a big draw!

I like the Villains idea or a POTC one...I keep trying to think of one others haven't mentioned, so I'll stick with my fave Disney movie- A Monsters Inc. restaurant would be cool or Pixar in general.

I love A Bug's Life! Thanks for the wedding wishes! We can't wait. :goodvibes

I second something for the boys!! Having 2 little boys of my own, and since they're in the pre-school age, they still like Pooh, Mickey, and sometimes even the Princesses. lol But I see these days coming to an end, and I really hope Disney reads this and decided on a Toy Story/Incredibles/Pixar meal or a Pirates meal. I mean how much sense does it make to have a Pirate and Princess Party, and have at least 3 princess meals, and NO pirate meals. Doesn't make sense to me. I think Coral Reef would be PERFECT for this meal. Get a Pirate ship, put it on the bottom, full of treasure.....my mind can go far:)

I gotta follow suit and say something for the boys! My two sons would just about explode if they could eat lunch/dinner with the Star Wars crew!! When they were smaller Buzz and Woody would have completely thrilled them.

For the life of me I can't figure out why Disney won't do something like this...:confused3

We've made princess reservations, mickey reservations, pooh reservations...I would be sitting on hold for a loooonnnnggg time to get ADR's for Star Wars.

National Treasure!!!!!!!!! I have so many ideas for this one it's not even funny!!!!!

Aside from that, my more "traditional" picks are:
1) Herc, Meg & Hades - how cool would Meg be in person?!?! ;)

2) Mulan, Shang, & Mushu - Temple/mountain atmosphere

3) Pocahontas, John Smith, Governor Ratcliffe & Meeko (I picture a really lush atmosphere! Way cool!)

4) Toy Story - Buzz & Woody for sure, then whoever else.

I agree, something more geared towards boys ( Disney are you listening?) like star wars, pirates or the monsters inc & toy story characters or even the power rangers. I'm really suprised that Disney hasn't picked up on the fact that nearly all the character meals are focused on either girls or very young children.

Definitely a Toy Story one! I remember my dd would've loved it when we were there (she was almost 5), and we're taking my son and nephew when they'll be almost 5 and they'd go nuts for it.

I wonder why they haven't done this one?

I only have a girl......but like PP's have said....they really need a boy themed meal.
Pirates or toy story.,
Kerri

I vote for a Tink or fairy-themed character meal, along with a Villains, Peter Pan and Star Wars. I would also like to see a Jungle Book themed character meal maybe in Animal Kingdom.

A pirate themed character meal for sure, and i would LOVE a villians meal. Pixar would be great too, and I think a cute Pit stop CS with Luigi and Guido would be VERY cute :)
