What trip would you choose - Easter or Memorial Day Weekend?

Would you choose a last minute trip Easter/Spring Break week for 6 Days off property. Or a 4 day Memorial Day weekend on property including the 24 hour day?

Our Spring Break plans have changed and it looks like we might end up going to Disney because it's just and easy trip and DH can take care of some business in the area that week. I'm curious what trip appeals to most people.

We NEVER go spring break. We had planned a trip last year that was cancelled last minute due to emergency surgery. I am hoping that 6 days will make the crowds feel more manageable because we know we have time to just enjoy ourselves.

But that whirlwind weekend sounds like a lot of fun as well! We can't do both.

We couldn't decide, so we are doing both. Memorial Day weekend will be MUCH busier. So, you might be better off crowdwise to go at Easter.

Looks like we are leaning towards Easter week. Looks like warm weather! It will be a no stress trip and that's nice. Memorial Day weekend might be a little exhausting.

I would go memorial day. It will be busier, but the 24 hr day experience can be a lot of fun, plus all of the new entertainment offerings start

I'm not sure that the crowds will be much different either time, easter is peak time, so will be memorial day, since it is the start of the 60th celebration. Don't plan it on the weather, because that is unpredictable. I would decide based on if you want to do the 24 hr day and see the new entertainment options. There is no way easter will be a no stress trip as far as crowds are concerned.

Look at isitpacked.com to get an idea of crowds, and you will see both times are comparable.

Agreed. We were looking to take a last-minute trip this weekend, but found out that our Deluxe AP's are blocked the entire weekend. It's shaping up to be a busy one - that's for sure!

We're doing both! Memorial day weekend was booked long before the 60th anniversary stuff was announced as a surprise birthday trip for DS. We know it will be crazy busy both trips, but it still beats having to go to work.

Please check back after your trip. I would love to hear how the two compared in terms of crowds.

I have been for both in the past. Memorial Day used to be less crowded. This year though I would expect the Memorial Day weekend to be crazy since it is the debut of the 60th stuff and includes a 24 hour party.
